Le Triples Up

Niveau 30 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante
Nghia Le
Nghia Le

Eric Froehlich raised from middle position, Alex Lynskey called from the hijack and Nghia Le called from the big blind.

The flop came down {Q-Spades}{8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} and Le checked to Froehlich who continued for 550,000. Lynskey called before Le check-raised all in for 2,405,000.

Both Froehlich and Lynskey called and proceeded to check the {7-Hearts} turn and {10-Clubs} river.

Le tabled {8-Spades}{7-Clubs} for sevens full of eights, besting Lynskey's {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} and Froehlich's holdings to triple up.

Fox Takes From Beylin

Niveau 30 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

Konstantin Beylin raised to 400,000 first to act and was called by Aram Zobian on the button. The flop came {K-Spades}{9-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and a continuation bet of Beylin did the trick.

Then, a heads-up flop in a battle of the blinds between Jorden Fox and Beylin ermerged soon after and Fox bet the {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}{2-Hearts} for 400,000, Beylin called. The {5-Diamonds} turn and {10-Diamonds} river were checked through and Fox showed {K-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} for king-high, which ended up winning the pot.

Dyer Wins a Big One Against Sharma

Niveau 31 : 100,000/200,000, 30,000 ante

Aram Zobian made it 525,000 to go and Artem Metalidi in the big blind asked for his stack size, then three-bet to 2,100,000 in the big blind. That ended the hand right there, as Zobian folded.

Soon after, Michael Dyer opened to 400,000 first to act and Nishant Sharma called from the big blind. The flop came {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} and Sharma check-called a bet of 375,000. On the {A-Hearts} turn, Sharma checked once more and called a bet worth 650,000 before checking the {2-Spades} river.

Dyer made it 1,650,000 to go and Sharma called after very brief hesitation. Dyer rolled over the {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds} and Sharma mucked, then mentioned in table chat "I had an ace, too."

Labat Scoops a Massive One to Take the Chip Lead

Niveau 31 : 100,000/200,000, 30,000 ante
Antoine Labat
Antoine Labat

Antoine Labat opened with a raise to 475,000. Peter Campo called from the cutoff and Andres Jeckeln called from the big blind.

The flop came down {Q-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{5-Spades} and all three players checked to see the {4-Diamonds} on the turn. There action checked to Labat who put out 675,000. Campo folded and Jeckeln check-raised, making it 2,200,000. Labat called.

The river was the {8-Spades} and Jeckeln led for 3,500,000. Labat just called. Jeckeln showed his {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} for a flopped set, but Labat had {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades} for a bigger flopped set. That left Jeckeln with just over 3 million while Labat vaulted over 30,000,000 chips.

Samuel Bernabeu opened under the gun for 450,000 and Aram Zobian defended big blind. Zobian check-called 425,000 on the {k-Spades}{10-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop and then both checked the {8-Hearts}. On the {3-Clubs} river, Zobian bet 1,420,000 and Bernabeu folded.

Lowery Doubles Through Froehlich

Niveau 31 : 100,000/200,000, 30,000 ante

Randy Lowery moved all in from early position for 3,435,000. It folded to Eric Froehlich in the small blind who called and the big blind folded.

Randy Lowery: {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Eric Froehlich: {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}

Lowery was in a good position to double, with a better pair and both suits covered. The board came {6-Spades}{2-Clubs}{q-Spades}{3-Hearts}{8-Clubs} with the river card causing Lowery minor discomfort, as he momentarily confused it for a nine.

"Why couldn't it come a jack or something," he said, "Then I'd know for sure I was safe."
