2018 WSOP Main Event Final Nine

The 2018 World Series of Poker Main Event is ready for the final table! After seven full days of playing, only nine players from the second-largest field of 7,874 are left standing. Each of them can already call themselves a millionaire, as the 9th place is already worth $1,000,000. There will be no days off for the final nine; they'll all return to the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino at 5:30 p.m. to continue their quest for the most coveted WSOP Gold bracelet, as well as the life-changing first place prize of $8,800,000.

The nine remaining players return to action today at 5:30 p.m. local time to commence the final table. When play gets under way, the clock will have 1 hour, 23 minutes and 57 seconds left in Level 36, with blinds at 300,000/600,000 and a running ante of 100,000. Play is scheduled to continue until six players remain, with Friday reserved for playing down from six to three. On Saturday, the three remaining players will play down to the eventual champion.

Player Instructions Underway

All remaining nine players are currently introduced and the loudest rail was immediately identified with Alex Lynskey's British and Australian support, who had started chanting 20 minutes before any players took their seats on the Thunderdome. However, the rail of Tony Miles gave them a fair competition right after.

Cards are expected to get in the air shortly.

Hand #3: Cynn Takes From Manion Once More

John Cynn

Hand #3: John Cynn raised it up to 1,300,000 and Nicolas Manion called on the button. The flop fell {5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and Cynn continued for 1,400,000, which Manion quickly called. On the {3-Hearts} turn, both players opted to check and the {10-Spades} river completed the board. Cynn now made it 3,900,000 to go and Manion called.

Cynn turned over the {J-Spades}{10-Hearts} for tens and treys, and that won the pot, while start-of-the-day chip leader Manion dropped to just over in 100 million chips.

Niveau 36 : 300,000/600,000, 100,000 ante

Hand #6: Aram Zobian raised it up to 1,300,000 from the hijack and Joe Cada three-bet to 3,700,000 on the button. That ended all further action right there, as Antoine Labat and Artem Metalidi in the blinds, as well as initial raiser Zobian sent their cards into the muck.

Hand #7: Cada remained in the driver's seat and raised to 1,300,000 from the cutoff in the next hand, which ended up winning the blinds and antes without resistance.
