Day 2 of Event #10: $1,500 Dealer's Choice has wrapped up, and 21 players go through to Day 3. Three-time WSOP bracelet winner Benny Glaser finished the day as the chip leader with a stack of 489,500 and he’ll be in contention for a possible fourth bracelet when play resumes Wednesday at 2 p.m local time.

Other big stacks in the room include Rob Campbell (454,500), Michael Chow (443,000), and WSOP bracelet winners Frankie O’Dell (342,000) and “Miami” John Cernuto. The tournament will play to a winner Wednesday, with the first-place prize of $144,957 on the line.

The money bubble burst on Day 2, with 71 players assuring themselves of at least the min-cash of $2,250. Notable players finishing in the money included WSOP bracelet winners Ben Yu ($2,383), David “ODB” Baker ($2,871), Tom Franklin ($2,871), Frank Kassela ($3,299), Greg Mueller ($3,299), Andrew Barber ($3,299) and Dan Matsuzuki ($3,904).

The tournament will play down to an 18-player redraw on Wednesday and those players will compete until the bracelet winner has been decided.

Glaser went on a surge at the end of Day 2, making an extraordinary hero call and winning a massive pot at the expense of fellow O’Dell on the very last hand of the night in limit hold'em

O'Dell and the rest of the table were in disbelief, as Glaser called O'Dell's river bet with just king-high, and the call was correct as O'Dell was forced to table a failed ten-high bluff.

Follow all of the Day 3 action with the PokerNews live reporting team as the $1,500 Dealers Choice crowns a bracelet winner Wednesday!

Mike Watson opened to 9,000 on the button, and Frankie O'Dell three-bet to 25,000 in the small blind. Watson called, and the flop came {k-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{5-Spades}.

O'Dell put in the continuation bet for 40,000, Watson reraised to put O'Dell at risk, and O'Dell called.

O'Dell: {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}
Watson: {q-Hearts}{7-Hearts}

The board ran out {9-Diamonds}{j-Spades}, and O'Dell's pair of eights held up.

No-Limit Hold'em

Ryan Leng wanted to play no-limit hold'em, but things went south for him right away.

Down to just 17,000, Jorge Walker shoved and Leng picked up the {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds} to set him at risk. Walker said he looked at one ace but turned out he held the {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} and doubled through as it ran out {k-Spades}{j-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{8-Spades}.

Moments later, Leng lost his last 50,000 or so.

2-7 Single Draw

Timothy McDermott opened for 5,500 in middle position and was called by the player on the button, Steven Friedlander. Ben Yu shoved all in for 59,700 in the big blind and McDermott tanked a long time then called. Friedlander called off for less, just over 50,000.

Yu and McDermott patted and Friedlander took a card. Yu showed {10-}{9-}{8-}{7-}{2-} and was out of the tournament when McDermott rolled over {9-}{8-}{6-}{5-}{4-}.

Friedlander had a live draw with {8-}{5-}{3-}{2-} but bricked when the {q-} arrived.

Sick Hand Sees Campbell Quartered

Big O

We didn't see when the money went in, but cards were on their backs in a monster pot between Andrew Barber and Robert Campbell with both players holding extremely large hands.

The board read {3-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Diamonds}. Campbell had {a-Spades}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{4-Spades} for the nut low and fives full. However, it was no good as Barber held {a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{q-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for a straight flush with the same low, good for three-quarters of the pot.

Stud Hi-Lo

Four players made it to seventh street with a massive pot that looked to have around 70,000 or 80,000 in the middle.

Mel Judah: {x-}{x-}/{4-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{2-Spades}{5-Spades}/{x-}
Patrick Leonard: {x-}{x-}/{a-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{k-Spades}/{x-}
Third player: {x-}{x-}/{a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}/{x-}
Fourth player: {x-}{x-}/{4-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{3-Clubs}/{x-}

Judah bet and Patrick Leonard thought awhile and called. The others folded and Judah opened {a-Spades}{6-Spades} in disgust.

"Look what I was drawing to," he said, showing a {2-Diamonds} as his river for a weak pair.

Leonard had {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} for a pair of aces to take the high.

Big O

With {3-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{7-Spades} on the felt, Tim Frazin got all in for his last 9,500 or so against Scott Bohlman. According to another player, the pot had gone multi-way to the flop and Frazin and Bohlman saw the turn heads up.

Scott Bohlman: {a-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{q-Spades}{7-Hearts}
Tim Frazin: {a-Spades}{4-Spades}{2-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

Both players had wheels with redraws and Bohlman called for a six and got one. Unfortunately for him, it was the {6-Spades} to give Frazin the nut flush, quartering Bohlman. After the hand, Frazin mocked calling his mother to tell her the news.

"Mom, I beat Scott in a hand," Frazin said excitedly, causing even Bohlman to grin. "She doesn't believe me.
