Martin had been dealt a pat number nine and would need to see Gorodinsky fade a four or three.

"Two across. Fifty-fifty," announced Gorodinsky as he squeezed his final card.

Gorodinsky flipped it over, and it was revealed to be a {2-} for a pair, and Martin doubled through.
