No "Salvadation" This Time

Niveau 24 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Miguelangel Salvador was all in again pre-flop but in trouble as his {8-}{8-} was dominated by the {10-}{10-} of Randy Itwaru.

Salvador was felling another salvation coming his way as he had his phone out recording the board run out, but unfortunately for him the cards were not in his favor this time when it ran out safe for the tens {a-}{4-}{4-}{a-}{7-} to end his tournament.

Opponent Runs into Talley's Nut Flush

Niveau 24 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

On a board that read {7-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} Caufman Talley bet 25,000 and was promptly raised to 150,000 by his opponent. Talley put in the smooth call.

The river was the {10-Clubs}. After waiting a few moments his opponent moved all in and Talley quickly tossed in the one chip call.

Talley showed the {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for the nut flush, destroying the ill-timed {k-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} bluff from his opponent.

Minkin Chipping Back Up

Niveau 23 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

As promised, Kelly Minkin has indeed started to chip back up following the crushing quads hand. Her {5-}{5-} on a board of {k-}{3-}{5-}{k-}{k-} was turned up which eliminated a player who held {a-}{q-}.

Her stack is now back up above 20 big blinds.

A Perfect Time for Aces

Niveau 23 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Preflop action folded around to Earnest Holthusen on the button and he raised it to 100,000. After the player in the small blind folded, Daniel Lefebvre, who easily had Holthusen covered, announced "All in," and Holthusen snap-called.

Earnest Holthusen: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}
Daniel Lefebvre: {a-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}

Holthusen had a minor sweat on the {10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} flop, but after the board ran out {10-Diamonds} on the turn and {j-Diamonds}, he secured his double-up.

Minkin's Ladies Crushed by Case Nine on River

Niveau 23 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Kelly Minkin
Kelly Minkin

On a flop that read {q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{8-Clubs} Kelly Minkin had Eric Smidinger dominated in a set over set situation with {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} against Smidinger's {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}, after they had got it all in.

The turn was the {8-Diamonds} to turn a boat for both players.

The river was the only card in the deck that could save Smidinger, the {9-Hearts}. As it fell all the players at the table reacted, generating curious looks from onlookers. Several pictures were snapped of the board and were no doubt added to social media to commemorate the extremely rare hand.

Minkin took it well and promised to run her stack back up, even though the devastating nine left her with a mere 60,000.

Stankov's Standoff

Niveau 23 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Quoc Le raised to 60,000 from the cutoff. From the next seat over on the button Ivan Stankov, then went into the tank for over a minute. During that time he shuffled, re-shuffled, counted and re-counted his stack, before he finally three-bet to 175,000, which left him with just 40,000 behind.

With action back on Le, he four-bet to 260,000, which was more than enough to put Stankov all in. Stankov thought for a moment and then threw in his remaining chips.

Ivan Stankov: {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Quoc Le: {a-Spades}{9-Clubs}

After all of the preflop action, the board ran out {10-Clubs}{q-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{4-Clubs}, which resulted in both players making the Broadway straght and chopping the pot.
