Today sees the first-ever, Event #42: $600 Mixed No-Limit Hold'em / Pot-Limit Omaha Deepstack . This is an original format that combined two of the most popular variations of poker: No-Limit Hold'em and Pot-Limit Omaha.

It also provides a reasonable $600 buy-in, which will attract many players looking to play a combination of both games, and win a coveted World Series of Poker gold bracelet. This is a brand new event the WSOP has added to its schedule due to its popularity throughout the past couple of years in the circuit.

Players will all sit down with 30,000 in chips, and play 30-minute levels. There will be a 20-minute break after every four levels, and a 75-minute dinner break after the 12th level at approximately 5:40 p.m. After every eight hands, the game will switch back and forth.

The registration will be open until the end of the dinner break at approximately 6:55 p.m. The players will have an option to reenter once if their first bullet doesn't go as planned. This tournament is scheduled as a two-day tournament but has the potential to go three days based on the turnout.
