Vacher Spikes the River

Niveau 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Action picked up on the flop of {2-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and about 55,000 in the three-way pot.

Victor Vacher had checked from his small blind, followed by another check from the player in the big blind. The third player in the hand then went all in, and Vacher asked for a count. The dealer counted down 64,500 and after a brief moment Vacher made the call. The big-blind player then thought for a moment as well before he finally folded his hand.

All-in Player: {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Victor Vacher: {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

The all-in player looked primed for the double-up with his overpair, and the {2-Clubs} turn kept him in the lead. However, the {a-Clubs} river changed everything and sent the not-too-happy player, who asked Vacher how he could make that call, to the rail.

Cho Stacks D'Ambrosio in a Massive Pot

Niveau 16 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Peter Cho
Peter Cho

Peter Cho raised to 11,000 under the gun and Jimmy D'Ambrosio three-bet to 44,500 in the cutoff. Cho called.

They went to a {7-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} flop with both players guarding deep stacks. Cho checked and D'Ambrosio checked as well.

The turn was the {4-Diamonds} and Cho checked again. D'Ambrosio bet 50,000 and Cho raised to 180,000. D'Ambrosio paused for about a minute and then he announced he was all in for around 450,000. Cho immediately called with a covering stack.

D'Ambrosio showed {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} and he saw that he was behind as Cho turned up {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}.

The {6-Clubs} river wasn't any of D'Ambrosio's two outs and Cho scooped the 1 million pot eliminating D'Ambrosio shortly before the end of the level.

Dramatic River for Kerslake Versus Yonnotti

Niveau 16 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Cindy Kerslake opened to 12,000 and the hijack player called before the button moved all in for 63,500. David Yonnotti, situated in the big blind, reshoved for 168,000 and Kerslake made the call to create the following showdown:

Button: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
David Yonnotti: {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Cindy Kerslake: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

Kerslake was in good shape to eliminate her two opponents, and the flop {k-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{7-Spades} improved her hand into a set of kings. A {j-Diamonds} fell on the turn, giving Yonnotti a tiny hope to hit a straight, which happened thanks to a {10-Clubs} on the river.

Kerslake chipped down to 106,000 after that hand while Yonnotti more than doubled up.

Goff Gets It In Good

Niveau 16 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

With preflop action on Dustin Goff, he got his last 4,500 in the middle, and when it folded around to Thomas Schmitter in the big blind, he got a 500 chip discount on the call.

Dustin Goff: {4-Clubs}{4-Spades}
Thomas Schmitter: {q-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

The {10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{10-Spades} flop got an "Awe come on," from Goff and the {7-Diamonds} turn didn't make him anymore comfortable. Before the dealer fanned the rivercard a tablemate said, "Give him a deuce," and the dealer put the {2-Clubs} on the river, which made Goff smile and say, "I tripled up!"

Boivin Busts Arutyunyan

Niveau 16 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Harry Arutyunyan raised it to 11,000 from under-the gun, and when action folded to Thomas Boivin in late position, he three-bet to 38,000. The remaining players folded, and with action back on Arutyunyan, he four-bet shoved and was immediately called by Boivin.

Harry Arutyunyan: {q-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Thomas Boivin: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}

The board ran out to {6-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{8-Clubs}{j-Hearts} on the turn, which gave Arutyunyan some hope, but the {10-Hearts} river ended his tournament run.

Cada Bets Out Two Opponents

Niveau 16 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

With around 40,000 in the middle, three players made it to the flop of {7-Spades}{8-Spades}{9-Diamonds}. The action was checked to Joe Cada who fired 16,000 from the cutoff, receiving two calls from players sitting in the big blind and early position, respectively.

The turn fell {q-Diamonds} and Cada checked behind that time.

The {k-Spades} completed the board and the first two players tapped the felt, allowing Cada to cut out a bet of 58,000. He got two folds and scooped the pot without exposing his hole cards.

Prasetyo Sends Monfort Out

Niveau 16 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Aditya Prasetyo raised to 11,000 after some thoughts, Roann Monfort opted to push all in for 95,000. It folded back to Prasetyo who tanked for a minute before calling:

Ronan Monfort: {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}
Aditya Prasetyo: {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}

It was a typical flip situation and the board came {9-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{6-Spades}{k-Hearts}, giving a pair of aces to Prasetyo on the flop to eliminate Monfort and grab another pot.
