Michel Dattani had barely sat down, he played his fourth hand in the Amazon Orange section when he got involved in a big pot. More than 28,000 chips were in the middle with the completed board showing . His opponent had checked and Dattani bet for 15,300 with 30,100 behind.

"Are you Italian?" the opponent asked and Dattani asked back "do I look Italian?" Eventually, the call followed and Dattani rolled over for a turned full house, his opponent mentioned in table chat he had pocket tens.

Boatman Short

Ross Boatman has been left short with just a few minutes to go until the break and he ran through the hand that cost him his chips. It began with five limpers in the pot before he made a big raise with pocket queens. Only 1 caller came along and the flop came . He made a continuation bet and his opponent moved all in, which wasn't enough to convince Boatman to fold.

The cards were turned over and Boatman was in trouble to his opponent's , which had flopped the straight. The turn and river bricked and the Brit will need to spin up to stay in the game.

New Faces in Pavilion White

There are still queues of players on each of the three major rooms Amazon, Brasilia and Pavilion with some of them waiting for a seat for nearly two hours. Dara O'Kearney and Jackie Glazier were among them, the latter already more than tripled up her stack.

David Bach was also already active at the tables but just bowed out in a four-bet pot when he three-bet an open raise from 2,800 to 7,200. The big blind four-bet to 18,500 and scooped the pot without resistance.

Magbual Busts One

Affleck Barrels

Matt Affleck has improved to two and a half times the starting stack and the most recent chips came in a hand in the last hand of the last level.

Affleck started the betting with an open to 2,000 from the cutoff and faced a three-bet to 8,000, which he called. The flop fell and it checked to Affleck who bet 12,000 into the pot. His opponent called and they headed on to the turn.

It was the and once again it checked to Affleck who made it 25,000 this time. His opponent went into the tank for a couple of minutes before ultimately deciding to fold.

Pots for Lamba and Gordo

Just before the blinds went up, Minissha Lamba raised to 2,100 and was called two ways by the button and the big blind. The flop was checked and Lamba bet the turn for 4,500 to pick up the pot uncontested.

A few tables over, Gillermo Gordo bet a heads-up flop of for 10,000 into 35,000 when sitting on the button and his sole remaining opponent in the small blind check-called. On the turn, the small blind checked and folded when Gordo pushed forward his stack of T-5,000 chips.

New faces in the Amazon room include Sarah Herzali and Stephen Graner, who share the same table in Amazon Gold.
