Dempsey Storming Along

Niveau 26 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

With so many chips in play, the chip lead is changing hands frequently and at the moment it is James Dempsey who looks to be in front.

Dempsey just made a fold on the flop with {2-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} on the flop after betting 225,000 and Juan Endara raised to 880,000, which was his all in. Dempsey tried to engage Endara in some table talk before he let it go.

Von Perger Among the Big Stacks

Niveau 26 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Jamila von Perger
Jamila von Perger

A short stack had been in the hand from under the gun with 90,000 behind and Jamila von Perger joined the action from one seat over, as did Steven Paulson in the big blind. The flop came {k-Spades}{5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} and action checked to von Perger, who pushed all in with her big stack. Paulson called all in for around 750,000 and the short stack folded {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} face up.

Steven Paulson: {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}
Jamila von Perger: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}

The {4-Spades} turn and {4-Hearts} river failed to improve Paulson and he was sent to the rail.

Next to von Perger is Joseph Weinberger, who had tripled on his last table and now also has far more big blinds to play with.

Niveau 26 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Kais [Removed:321] raised and called the shove of Richard Walker on the button for around 700,000 with the {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}. Walker only had {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} and the board came {9-Spades}{7-Spades}{2-Spades}{6-Spades}{2-Clubs} and [Removed:321]'s aces held up to boost his stack further.

Li Makes a Move

Niveau 26 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Ming Li had dropped a little in the last few hands but she just pulled some back after making a huge play against Lazaro Hernandez just now. Hernandez had limped in early position and Dean Baranowski got his last few big blinds in. Li was sat on his left and raised it to 350,000, which Hernandez called.

The flop fell the {a-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} and when Hernandez checked, Li moved all in for over 2 million. It was a bold move and Hernandez opted to not call, leaving Li to take down the side pot and play heads up with Baranowski for the main. They ended up chopping it as they both had queen-jack in the hole and there were no flushes by the time the completed board ran out with a {4-Spades} on the turn and a {2-Diamonds} on the river.
