Kurganov Content to Play a Big One

Niveau 19 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Igor Kurganov
Igor Kurganov

Christoph Vogelsang opened to 215,000 and Igor Kurganov three-bet to 925,000. Vogelsang called.

The flop was {10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}. "I have two time extensions," said Kurganov. "I don't know where they went. I'm using one of them now."

He then bet 600,000 and Vogelsang called.

The turn was the {2-Spades} and Kurganov moved all in. Vogelsang had around three million behind and eventually folded.

After the hand, it transpired that Kurganov's two remaining time extensions had been misplaced during the two table redraw. The floor person confirmed that he had two, and that he had played one, meaning he had one remaining.

The turn was the {3-Spades} and Grafton checked again. Adams fired out another bet of 900,000 and Grafton laid his hand down.

A few hands later, Grafton was involved in another pot with Keith Tilston. The flop came {q-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Spades} and Tilston check-called a bet from Grafton on the flop and the {7-Hearts} turn. The {q-Diamonds} paired the board on the river and both players checked. Tilston showed {8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} and Grafton mucked.
