Liang Likes His Hand

Niveau 8 : 400/800, 800 ante

Mike Liang raised it to 1,600 from early position and when action folded to the button-player he three-bet to 5,200. Liang then made it 13,600, which sent his opponent into the tank for almost a minute before he made the call. On the {8-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} flop Liang continued his aggression with a bet of 12,500, which got a fold from the button-player.

Chang Makes the Right Call

Niveau 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

The under-the-gun player raised it to 1,200 and was called by the small-blind player and Carlos Chang from his big blind. The small-blind player checked the {j-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop, Chang bet 1,700, which got a call from the original raiser and a check-call from the small-blind player.

All three players then checked the {10-Spades} turn, and after the small-blind player and Chang checked the {8-Spades} river the original raiser slid out a bet of 3,500. Chang thought for about 30 seconds, made the call and scooped the pot.

Wilson Wins One

Niveau 6 : 300/500, 500 ante

The under-the-gun player raised it 2,000 and was called by the player in the cutoff and Taylor Wilson on the button. On the {9-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{9-Spades} flop the under-gun-player continued for 2,000. The cutoff-player three-bet to 4,800, Wilson made the call and the original raiser folded.

After the cutoff-player checked the {6-Diamonds} turn, Wilson put out a bet of 5,800. His opponent tanked, made the call and then checked again on the {6-Spades} river. At that point Wilson moved all in, which sent the cutoff-player into the tank once again. He asked for a count, made the call after the dealer confirmed 16,700 total and then threw his cards towards the muck after Wilson tabled {a-Diamonds}{9-} for the full house.

Marcus Gets It in Bad but the Outcome is Good

Niveau 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

After a series of preflop raises Daniel Marcus was all in.

Daniel Marcus: {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Opponent: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

Marcus was behind preflop, and the {q-Spades}{k-Hearts}{9-Clubs} wasn't a good one for him, but it did give him four outs to the gutshot straight. The {10-Spades} turn was one of those outs, but he still needed to avoid the board pairing on river. The dealer fanned the {3-Spades}, which completed Marcus' double-up.
