Riordan Wins With Turn Raise

Niveau 13 : 1,000/2,500, 0 ante

There was 15,000 in the pot on a board of {10-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{7-Hearts} and John Richards checked from the small blind. Adi Aizin was in the big blind and made a pot-sized bet. John Riordan found action on him from under the gun and he announced a raise of the pot to 60,000. Richards quickly folded and Aizin thought for a few moments before folding as well.

Meanwhile, Benny Glaser still has a stack of 2,000 and has not been in his seat since the return from the break. His position is under the gun in the current hand that is being dealt at his table, meaning he will be all in next hand.

Another Double: Hwang Through Wessman

Niveau 13 : 1,000/2,500, 0 ante

On Hand #15 of hand-for-hand play, signifying 30 minutes of clock and one-half of an entire level on the bubble, Andy Hwang check-raised all in on a board of {6-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{3-Spades}{9-Clubs} from the big blind over a bet of 31,500 from Anders Wessman, who was on the button. Wessman called.

Andy Hwang: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Anders Wessman: {5-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}

Hwang was ahead with his pair of queens and was able to fade Wessman's outs to a straight or to two pair as the river fell {6-Diamonds} and he secured the double, prompting the tournament director to get on the microphone and instruct the dealers to deal another hand.

Leng's Turn To Double

Niveau 13 : 1,000/2,500, 0 ante
Ryan Leng (pictured in another event)
Ryan Leng (pictured in another event)

Hand #20 of hand-for-hand play saw another all in and call.

There was 16,500 in the pot on a board of {8-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{q-Clubs} and Ryan Leng bet the size of the pot from the small blind, leaving himself 8,500 behind. John Richards was in the hijack and raised to put him in. Leng called.

Ryan Leng: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
John Richards: {5-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{8-Spades}

Leng had the nut straight and needed to fade clubs to double up and avoid being the last unpaid casualty of the tournament. The turn and river secured that double, coming {7-Spades}{9-Hearts} and play continues with the bubble now spanning two-thirds of a level.
