Heath Shoves on Kempe

Niveau 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Ben Heath raised to 2,100 from the button before Rainer Kempe three-bet to 6,700 from the small blind. Heath called when the decision was back on him, and the flop fell {q-Spades}{8-Hearts}{2-Hearts}.

Both players checked, and the {9-Hearts} hit the turn, which again resulted in check-check action.

Kempe checked for the final time on the {10-Hearts} river, and Heath thought for 30 seconds before he placed a stack of chips worth 50,000 into the middle.

Kempe was sat with 30,000 and went into the tank.

"Such a weird hand," said Kempe after close to two minutes had passed.

Kempe looked at his holding for the final time just a few seconds later, before he passed, and Heath picked up the pot seconds before the last break of Day 1.

The board fell {8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{2-Hearts}, and there was around 40,000 in the pot.

Todd Ivens checked from middle position, and Alex Foxen moved all in for 65,000.

Ivens had 40,000 behind and went into the tank.

With his tournament life on the line if he called, Ivens thought for a couple of minutes, before he peeked at his cards for a final time and passed them to the dealer in one motion.

Foxen, who only joined the event this level, took the pot and moved up to 105,000.

Negreanu Tests Sontheimer

Niveau 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

The board fell {2-Hearts}{q-Spades}{6-Spades}{9-Spades}, and with around 25,000 in the middle, Daniel Negreanu bet 35,000 from the hijack.

Steffen Sontheimer had 16,000 behind in the cutoff and went into the tank.

Sontheimer and Negreanu were chatting away at this point with Sontheimer trying to work out a holding he was beating.

"I have the ace of spades," said Sontheimer and after a few more seconds passed he folded.

"Show me, please?" said Sontheimer.

"I'll show you one," said Negreanu and revealed the {7-Spades}.

"Pocket sevens," replied Sontheimer, and Negreanu revealed the {7-Hearts} before he took in the pot.

Andress Cracks Aces to Double

Niveau 7 : 400/800, 800 ante

All five community cards were on display {6-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} and in front of the all-in John Andress was {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts} for a set.

Ferdinand Putra was in a horrible situation after he saw his {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts} cracked.

The dealer counted Andress' stack, and Putra was left with 37,000, as Andress moved up to 185,000.

Pierre Calamusa at a 2019 WSOP Final Table

Pierre Calamusa and Marton Czuczor have been table neighbors for a while, and the two seem to be in a heads-up battle of their own.

Calamusa started the day well and rose over 150,000 quickly, but then saw Czuczor take the majority of his stack.

But the chips have changed hands once again with Calamusa's all in called by Czuczor.

The chips headed in the direction of the Frenchman and he once again regained the amount he had lost, with Czuczor reduced to 135,000.
