Konstantin Puchkov completed, Paul Volpe raised and Puchkov called. Volpe check-called on fourth after spiking a queen, then led out on fifth and sixth. Puchkov called both bets and Volpe had only 5,000 behind when they peeled the river. Volpe threw the last chip in front of him, but Puchkov failed to improve and he folded a pair of sixes face up. Volpe showed three eights for a boat.
