Sinclair Can't Bet Off the Chop

Niveau 1 : 100/200, 200 ante
Jack Sinclair
Jack Sinclair

A player in the big blind led out for 700 on an {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{j-Hearts} flop, and 2018 WSOP Europe Main Event champ and former WSOP November Niner Jack Sinclair called in middle position.

The big blind bet 1,500 after the {a-Spades} fell on the turn, and Sinclair called again.

The {8-Spades} completed the board on the river, and the big blind bet 3,500. Sinclair raised to 7,000, and his opponent instantly called, tabling {a-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for aces full. Sinclair turned over {a-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for the same full house, and the two chopped the pot as the big blind told Sinclair, "Lots of pressure..."

Griener Takes Pot With Two Pair

Niveau 1 : 100/200, 200 ante

Action picked up on the turn with a board that read {6-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{2-Spades}{j-Diamonds}. Jared Griener bet 1,800 and his opponent called. The river was the {5-Hearts}. Griener fired again, this time for 2,500 and got a quick call.

Griener turned over {j-Spades}{10-Spades} which bested the {a-}{10-} of his opponent to take an early pot.

Gerecke Goes Up

Niveau 1 : 100/200, 200 ante

Mark Gerecke faced a 2,300 bet from an opponent on the big blind, with the board reading {8-Spades}{9-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}. Gerecke called, and the river brought the {k-Diamonds}. Gerecke showed {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} and took down the pot with his top pair.

The same two players went head-to-head again on the following hand, with Gerecke getting the best of it once more. Gerecke's {5-Hearts}{3-Hearts} was the winner on a {8-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{5-Spades}{a-Diamonds} board, and after that small pot he's up to 68,000 on Level 1.

Torelli Picks Off a Bluff

Niveau 1 : 100/200, 200 ante

A player in the hijack opened to 600 and received calls from Alec Torelli on the button as well as both players in the blinds. The four players saw a flop of {7-Spades}{2-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and action checked to Torelli, who bet 1,200. Only the big blind called as action went heads up to the turn {k-Clubs}. The big blind led out for 2,200 and Torelli called.

The river was {q-Clubs} and the big blind led again for 3,300. Torelli looked him up.

The big blind tabled {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} for ace high and Torelli showed {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} and took down the pot with his pair of nines.

Top Pair, Top Kicker No Good For Farber

Niveau 1 : 100/200, 200 ante

On the turn the board read {a-Clubs}{2-Spades}{5-Clubs}{9-Clubs}, after a check James Church bet 2,200 which was called by 2013 Main Event runner up Jay Farber.

The river was the {10-Hearts}. Farber checked and Church checked back. Farber hopefully turned over {a-Diamonds}{k-} but that was only second best to the {3-}{4-} wheel of Church. Farber waved his hand as if to say 'go ahead, take the pot' as it was pushed towards Church.
