Toth busts one

They were off to the races when Japan's "ashibe" got it in holding the {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs} and Bela "Teemo2018" Toth tabled {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}.

The pocket pair held up on a board of {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}{6-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} as Toth earned the pot with sevens full of queens.

The Flood of Casualties Continues

Niveau 6 : 400/800, 100 ante

As the field continues to climb with now up to 1,458 entries, the list of casualties keeps growing at the same rapid speed. Only 1,126 players remain and some of the more notable casualties can be found below.

Kwok Can't Hold With Tens

Niveau 6 : 400/800, 100 ante
Kwok eliminated by Li
Kwok eliminated by Li

A classic race emerged between Hong Kong's Chun Kong "Raise007" Kwok and Yuan Yuan "SunnySummer" Li from Canada to result in the following showdown.

Chun Kong "Raise007" Kwok: {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Yuan Yuan "SunnySummer" Li: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

The {k-Spades}{5-Spades}{4-Spades}{8-Clubs}{7-Clubs} board delivered the king on the flop for Li and another player at the table even flashed the {10-Spades}.

Bohn On the Last Bullet

Niveau 6 : 400/800, 100 ante

Blake "Beast2018!" Bohn had already busted twice and the third barrel was off to a bad start when he min-raised and picked up one caller. "Knekken" came along after the {6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop when facing a bet of Bohn and they checked the {7-Diamonds} turn.

After the {3-Diamonds} river, Bohn called the shove with {8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} but "Knekken" tabled {a-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} for the nut flush.

Bohn lost several pots after that to drop down further.

Triple Up for "radamapiki"

Niveau 6 : 400/800, 100 ante

In a three-way all-in, it was Russia's radamapiki" as the player at risk in the following showdown.

"radamapiki": {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Ghassan "Simbuzzi" Yafaoui: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
"DeepTas9": {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}

The board came {k-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{a-Hearts} to provide a king on the flop and ace on the river.

Shortly after, Aleeyah "ElleSriracha" Jadavji got her stack in preflop but found no caller to boost her stack slightly.

More Notables on the Rail

Niveau 6 : 400/800, 100 ante

As the field has now reached 1,340 entries around 90 minutes into the event, there are 1,105 players remaining.

Ping San "Garfield" Chan has been the first player to be eliminated for good as he fired three bullets without success.

Poker Can be a Brutal Game

Niveau 5 : 300/600, 70 ante
Sapra Takes a Hit
Sapra Takes a Hit

Sumit "rung00se" Sapra raised and then called a three-bet by "Brutalgame1" to see a flop of {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{2-Clubs} on which Sapra check-called a bet of 4,895. They checked the {5-Hearts} turn and Sapra jammed the {k-Clubs} river only for their opponent to snap-call for the last 22,328.
Sapra tabled {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for turned two pair but "Brutalgame1" held {a-Hearts}{k-Spades} for the superior two pair on the river.

Jacks Can't Crack Jacks

Niveau 5 : 300/600, 70 ante

Just before the blinds had gone up, Aleeyah "ElleSriracha" Jadavji raised to 1,000 and was called by "MyGamble". "radamapiki" had other plans and three-bet to 3,115, which Jadavji called. "MyGamble" then shoved and "radamapiki" called all-in, Jadavji folded.

Both players tabled {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} and {j-Spades}{j-Hearts} respectively, and the board of {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{10-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} provided no miracle flush.
