Reddy Eliminated by "TCCHE"; Huseynov Re-Enters

Niveau 8 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Grinder41500 eliminated
Grinder41500 eliminated

Right after coming back from the break, Srinivas "Grinder41500" Reddy got his stack in preflop with the {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} and was called by "TCCHE" on the button with the {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}.

The board ran out {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{9-Spades} and Reddy was eliminated. Kamal "hki23" Huseynov took his seat and bet the {q-Clubs}{9-Spades}{7-Diamonds} flop for 6,000, then led the {8-Spades} turn for 24,000, the size of the pot. Douglas "Doug-" Hartwick had callled the first bet and moved all-in, which Huseynov called with the {k-Spades}{7-Spades} for a pair and flushdraw.

Hartwick tabled the {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades} and the {a-Diamonds} river was a blank, which sent Huseynov to the rail and right back in on a re-entry.

Great Timing for Preflop Nuts for "jornboro"

Niveau 7 : 600/1,200, 140 ante

Checking in on newly-minted chip leader "dav1nci", two of his table mates had stacks in the middle. Preflop, Deividas "Veganas" Kvaselis had opened to 2,520, and "jornboro" jammed for 24,385. Over to "LluviaYCafe" in late position, who four-bet to 90,000 - enough to see off Kvaselis. It was {q-Clubs}{q-Spades} for "LluviaYCafe" vs. {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} for "jornboro" with the {k-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{8-Spades} board changing nothing. The mucker of the vanquished queens admitted, "Nice hand."

Marvin "TheCrippler" Tay's Overpair Not Over that of "Bullets_Long"

Niveau 7 : 600/1,200, 140 ante

"Bullets_Long" opened under the gun for 2,520 (his stack 42,638). Chip leader Marvin "TheCrippler" Tay made the call, as did the button and big blind. "Bullets_Long" bet 5,900 when the big blind checked to him on the {8-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{4-Spades} flop, called by Tay alone. Both players checked the {6-Diamonds} turn. When "Bullets_Long" bet out 11,800 on the {3-Spades} river, Tay took his time considering, but made the call as his final seconds ticked down.

Tay: {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}
"Bullets_Long": {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}.

A slight chink in the chip armour of the erstwhile chip leader, who still holds a top-ten stack with over 1,500 players remaining.

Rezaei Busts Ezer

Niveau 6 : 500/1,000, 120 ante

Daniel "Razer2311" Rezaei put Benjamin "l3enny" Ezer to the test for his stack on a {6-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{7-Spades} flop, having three-bet him in position (2,000 to 6,845) preflop. Rezaei opted for an 80,000 chip jam when it was checked to him, setting his opponent all in for under half of that; Ezer called fast with {10-Clubs}{10-Spades} while Rezaei showed down {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}. The overcards missed the turn, but a {k-} river sent Ezer to the virtual rail (or re-entry desk).

Quads for Eunwoo "SoulMate" Sim

Niveau 5 : 400/800, 100 ante

Caught with a big decision for small blind Sam "samsam81" Higgs on the river, a hand between him and Eunwoo "SoulMate" Sim had already piled 49,800 into the pot. Button Sim had bet 37,350 and Higgs' timebank was getting full use. Down to just a few seconds, Higgs, in the top ten in chips early off today, finally made the call, showing down {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}. Sim's {2-Hearts}{2-Clubs} was only to be beaten by higher quads, and it wasn't.
