The Short Stacks Chip Up
Viktor Ustimov raised to 1 million on the button and was called by Suraj Mishra in the big blind. Mishra check-raised the flop from 881,100 to 2.3 million and Ustimov quickly let go.
One hand later, Connor Drinan limped in and Christopher Kruk raised to 1.5 million. That ended up winning the pot for Kruk as Drinan folded.
Drinan got those chips back from Kruk when he three-bet jammed into a min-raise by Kruk, who folded after brief consideration.
Daniyar Aubakirov was the next short stack to add some chips when he defended the big blind against Mishra's min-raise and open-shoved the flop for more than 3.4 million.
