Welcome to Event #11: $500 No-Limit Hold'em Turbo Deepstack 6-Handed

2020 Online World Series of Poker Bracelet
2020 Online World Series of Poker Bracelet

Get ready for another super turbo Saturday as $500 No-Limit Hold'em Turbo Deepstack 6-Handed of the 2020 Online World Series of Poker kicks off today at 3 p.m. PDT.

Since this is a Turbo event, the blinds will be 8-minutes and with it being a deepstack tournament, the $500 buy-in gives players 40,000 chips to play with.

The tournament allows players to re-enter two times with each re-entry lasting only 30 seconds, so players will need to make sure they have enough funds in their WSOP.com account before the tournament starts if they plan on re-entering.

Late registration and the re-entry option will be open for the first 2 hours and 15 minutes of play. Tournament tickets are not usable for re-entry.

This is a single day event meaning the entire tournament will be played out online and the winner will take home a WSOP Gold Bracelet.

An impressive feat occurred in yesterday's Event #10: $600 No-Limit Hold'em MonsterStack , after Ryan "Im.sorry" Torgerson shipped his first WSOP Bracelet after finishing runner up in Event #9: $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Max. Torgerson came for redemption and earned the victory after he navigated his way through one of the largest fields this series.

We'll see if Torgerson tries to ride the rush and go for his second bracelet in two days, while talented pros Tony "Panoramic" Dunst, David "Twizzlers" Prociak, Benjamin "End3rs" Moon and Mike "mkspresident" Shin have already signed up for today's tournament.

This is the eleventh of 85 bracelet events being held on WSOP.com (31 events – one each day for the month of July) and GG Poker (holding the remaining 54 events).

The former client will cater to players in Nevada and New Jersey (players in Delaware are NOT able to participate), while the latter will serve the international base.

How To Play

The first step in getting set up to play on WSOP.com is to download the client. You can do so for both mobile (Android and iOS) and desktop (Windows 7 or higher and Mac OS X 10.6.8).

To get the correct version of the client, use the links below:

WSOP.com Bracelet Event Schedule

Satellites are running now for as little $1.

Kevin "ImaLuckSac" MacPhee Looking for Another Turbo Bracelet

Kevin Macphee
Kevin Macphee

Do you know who Idaho’s all-time tournament money leader is with just shy of $6 million in lifetime earnings? It’s longtime poker pro Kevin MacPhee, who happens to be a two-time World Series of Poker gold bracelet winner.

He captured both his bracelets back in 2015, albeit on different sides of the Atlantic Ocean. First, he won the 2015 WSOP Event #56: $5,000 No-Limit Hold’em Turbo in Las Vegas for $490,800, and four months later followed it up by winning the WSOP Europe Main Event in Germany for €883,000 ($1,001,576).

Prior to those wins, MacPhee had made a name for himself on the European Poker Tour (EPT). In 2010, he won the EPT Berlin for a career-high $1,356,428, and four years later finished runner-up in the EPT London Main Event for $495,861.

MacPhee, who was named the EPT Player’s Choice Award winner in 2010, is in action today under the screenname “ImaLuckSac.” He has 56 WSOP-related cashes dating back to 2008 totaling $2,288,811, including five cashes and one final table appearance in this online series.

"mikeaacrowle" called from the small blind as did Jacob "Bandit275" Powers from the big blind and action was back on Scarpa who four-bet jammed for 22,159.

Both Daniels and "mikeaacrowle" folded while Powers called, and the two players tabled their hands.

Jacob "Bandit275" Powers: {k-Spades}{j-Spades}
Adrian "Bluffage" Scarpa: {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}

Scarpa was ahead with his made hand and didn't have a sweat as the board ran out a clean {2-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{3-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} securing his double-up.

Domboski Doubles Through Lipscomb

With the blinds at 140/280/35, Timothy "Tdom80" Domboski moved all in for 4,244 under the gun and action folded to Michael "mike87ntks" Lipscomb, who called out of the big blind.

Michael "mike87ntks" Lipscomb: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Timothy "Tdom80" Domboski: {q-Hearts}{j-Spades}

Domboski was dominated, but he got lucky when the {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop delivered him trip jacks. The {5-Clubs} turn secured him the double and he was pushed the pot after the meaningless {10-Clubs} was run out on the river.

Tim "Timmy2bet" Garles Looking to Follow Up Ring Win w/ a Bracelet

Tim Garles
Tim Garles

Last October at the World Series of Poker Circuit Horseshoe Southern Indiana in the Louisville area, more than a dozen gold ring events took place. In Event #9: $400 No-Limit Hold’em, 123 entries created a $40,590 prize pool. That was paid out to the top 19 players including Merton Toler (10th - $779), Nickolas Syrigos (14th - $673), Scott Weiss (16th - $601), and Kathalyn Holz (19th - $553).

Poker grinder Tim Garles from Des Moines, Iowa began day 2 as the chip leader and stayed there on his way to victory.

“I have been working really hard, my coach is Jeff Fielder,” Garles said after his win. “I definitely have to thank him.”

He added: “I am just going to keep playing tournaments.”

All told, Agrles has $85,782 in lifetime live tournament earnings including second in the 2019 WSOPC Bicycle Casino $400 NLH Double Stack for $10,860 and third in the Horseshoe Council Bluffs Holiday Poker Classic for $9,944.

Garles, who hails from Iowa, just jumped into action today under the screen name "Timmy2bet" and is looking to compliment his ring win with a shiny gold bracelet. He was kind enough to share with us some shots from his AirBnB grind station.

Nick Pupillo
Nick Pupillo

With blinds at 1,400/2,800/350, "TourneyDirect" opened under the gun for 10,200 and Nick "DuckFlush" Pupillo three-bet all in for 63,700 from the big blind.

"TourneyDirect" called and both players tabled their hands.

"TourneyDirect": {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}
Nick "DuckFlush" Pupillo: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}

The {9-Clubs} turn didn't change a thing nor did the {2-Diamonds} river as Pupillo doubled-up.
