Turbo aficionados, start your engines! Event #16: $500 No-Limit Hold'em Turbo is set to kick off at 3 p.m. PDT and will set one player on the fast track to earning a WSOP gold bracelet.

Players will start with 30,000 in tournament chips for their $500 buy-in, and blind levels are 8 minutes in length. Late registration is open for two hours and fifty-five minutes, and players who bust may re-enter twice during the late registration period. Re-entries have a thirty-second time limit, so players should make sure they have enough funds in their WSOP.com account prior to the tournament start. Tournament tickets may not be used for re-entry.

This is a single day event meaning the entire tournament will be played out online and the winner will take home a WSOP Gold Bracelet.

Last night, in Event #15: $1,000 PLO 8-Max, Guy "PhilLaak" Dunlap of Portland, Oregon earned his first WSOP gold bracelet and $133,780 after overcoming a tough final table that included heavy hitters Anthony "heheh" Zinno, Matt "jacksup" Matros, and Blake "shampainpopn" Whittington. Dunlap beat Shane "danish01" Daniels to earn his bracelet, and Daniels was left with his second runner-up performance of the series, after finishing second in Event #6: $600 PLO8 6-Max.

Plenty of players are already registered for today's festivities, including Chad "clayne' Layne, Benjamin "End3rs" Moon, and Tony "Panoramic" Dunst, to name a few.

This is the sixteenth of 85 bracelet events being held on WSOP.com (31 events – one each day for the month of July) and GG Poker (holding the remaining 54 events).

The former client will cater to players in Nevada and New Jersey (players in Delaware are NOT able to participate), while the latter will serve the international base.

How To Play

The first step in getting set up to play on WSOP.com is to download the client. You can do so for both mobile (Android and iOS) and desktop (Windows 7 or higher and Mac OS X 10.6.8).

Natural8 2020 WSOP Online Performances of the Week: Ryan "Im.Sorry" Runner-Up & Champ in Back-to-Back Days

Ryan Torgersen
Ryan Torgersen

The 2020 World Series of Poker (WSOP) online bracelet events will run from July 1st to September 6th and is comprised of 85 WSOP gold bracelets on the digital felt across two different clients: WSOP.com and GG Poker.

Each week, we’ll highlight those players who rise to the top through their performance, be it a dominating one in a single event, or an exhibition of consistency over several tournaments. In the first week, honors went to Shawn “SayGoodnight” Daniels after he made two final tables. This week, several players put in noteworthy performances, though one stood above all the rest.

Over the course of two days, New Jersey’s Ryan “im.sorry” Torgersen did something truly incredible. First, he navigated his way through a 1,026-entry field in Event #9: $1,000 NLH 6-Max only to fall one spot shy of winning a bracelet. The following day, he found redemption by capturing a bracelet in Event #10: $600 Monster Stack.
