Jaka Doubles Through Kuhn

Niveau 9 : 140/280, 35 ante
Faraz Jaka
Faraz Jaka

Faraz "22NevaLoose" Jaka opened for 560 from the hijack and "coggi" called from the cutoff, as did Ryan "Im.Sorry" Torgersen from the button, while Robert "bustinballs" Kuhn three-bet to 4,235 from the small blind.

Action folded back around to Jaka who jammed for 11,297 and only Kuhn called.

Faraz "22NevaLoose" Jaka: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Robert "bustinballs" Kuhn: {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

Jaka was ahead but had a sweat after the {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{j-Clubs} flop gave Kuhn a broadway draw.

Luckily for Jaka, the board completed with the {3-Diamonds} on the turn followed by the {7-Hearts} on the river securing his double-up.

If you don't follow poker pro and commentator Jamie Kerstetter on Twitter, you probably should. Her tweets @JamieKerstetter are legendary and among the funniest in the industry, so much so that she won "Twitter Personality of the Year" at the 2nd Annual Global Poker Awards earlier this year.

Since 2009, Kerstetter has amassed $682,314 in live tournament earnings, including a career-best $44,937 for finishing 12th in the 2012 WPT Borgata Poker Open Championship Event. An attorney by trade, Kerstetter is well known for her commentary abilities. She's been featured alongside Lon McEachern and Norman Chad during ESPN broadcasts of the World Series of Poker, and currently co-hosts "The Rake" podcast alongside Marle Cordeiro. For several years she was also a co-host of the now-defunct LFG Podcast on PokerNews.

The New Jersey native actually resides in Las Vegas now, and she's on the bracelet grind today. Earlier in the series, she was kind enough to send us a photo of her set up, which is complete with her world-famous pooch Crouton.

WSOP Legend: Doyle Brunson's Final Bracelet, 15 Years Later

Niveau 7 : 100/200, 25 ante
Doyle Brunson
Doyle Brunson

At the beginning of the 2005 WSOP, Doyle Brunson remained the co-king of the all-time bracelet count, tied along with Johnny Chan at nine. However, as the series drew toward its close in late June, that was no longer the case — Chan had overtaken him by winning No. 10 to stand atop the mountain alone.

Brunson was already phasing out his tournament play, having cashed precisely zero times that summer and just three times in the previous two combined, although one had resulted in a bracelet victory.

When it came time for Event #31: $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Handed, Brunson dusted off his tournament chops and made a run.

The 2020 Online World Series of Poker continues today with Event #19: $400 No-Limit Hold'em which is set to get underway at 3:00 p.m. PDT.

This Online Bracelet event features 15-minute blind levels and the $400 buy-in gives players 15,000 chips to play with.

Late registration and the re-entry option will be open for the first 3 hours and 45 minutes of play. Tournament tickets are not usable for re-entry.

This is a single day event meaning the entire tournament will be played out online and the winner will take home a WSOP Gold Bracelet.

This is the nineteenth of 85 bracelet events being held on WSOP.com (31 events – one each day for the month of July) and GG Poker (holding the remaining 54 events).

The former client will cater to players in Nevada and New Jersey (players in Delaware are NOT able to participate), while the latter will serve the international base.

How To Play

The first step in getting set up to play on WSOP.com is to download the client. You can do so for both mobile (Android and iOS) and desktop (Windows 7 or higher and Mac OS X 10.6.8).
