Chen Counterfeits Bruschi to Double

Niveau 11 : 600/1,200, 150 ante

After a late position raise from Renan Bruschi, Pete Chen moved all in for about 22,000 from the small blind. Bruschi called with pocket sixes, and he was flipping against the {a-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} of Chen. The flop of {k-Hearts}{j-Spades}{7-Clubs} provided little help for Chen, but the {k-Spades} turn meant that another jack or seven would give Chen the better hand with his ace kicker.

Sure enough, a seven came on the river, sinking the sixes of Bruschi, and giving Chen a double.

GGPoker Signs Greg Goes All In as a Content Creator

Greg Goes All In

There was a time when becoming a sponsored poker player or an ambassador of an online poker site required you to be an elite player. That or at least have one marquee tournament victory on your resume. Those times are long gone, as evidenced by GGPoker signing popular poker content creator "Greg Goes All In."

Greg Goes All In loves playing poker, even if he admits to not being anywhere near the best player in the world. Creating amazing, fun poker-related content is one of Greg's major strengths, and it is his content production skills that have secured him a place on the GGPoker Team.

Greg is now a fully-fledged member of the Content Creators Team, part of the GGTeam stable. His tongue-in-cheek, self-deprecating videos are a massive hit with his 16,500 YouTube followers. He even poked fun at himself when announcing his new content creation deal with GGPoker!

The self-proclaimed "memelord" has created dozens of viral poker videos over the past 12-months and even managed to bag himself an exclusive interview with 15-times WSOP champion Phil Hellmuth earlier this year.

Okamura Adds To His Chip Lead

Niveau 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Motoyoshi "falcon8808" Okamura raised it up to 3,500 from the cutoff, and from the small blind, "Th3Secr3t" reraised to 15,000, about half their stack. Okamura took little time to put them all in, and "Th3Secr3t" called with pocket sevens. They were in a world of hurt though, as the chip leader held pocket aces.

"Th3Secr3t" flopped a straight draw, but picked up no further help, and Okamura extended his chip lead.

Swieboda Eliminates Chris Moorman

Niveau 13 : 1,000/2,000, 250 ante
Chris Moorman
Chris Moorman

Bartlomiej "chester20o" Swieboda and Chris Moorman got into a raising war preflop that saw the final 50,000 of Moorman's chips go into the middle from the big blind, holding {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}. However, he was dominated by the {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} of Swieboda. The board ran down {7-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{2-Spades}, and the king kicker played to knock out a big name in this bracelet event.

Two Straight KOs for Chip Leader "jacky chun"

Niveau 14 : 1,250/2,500, 300 ante

"Ma3str0" looked to be in great shape for a double up against "jacky chun" holding {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} on a board reading {10-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{7-Spades}. "jacky chun" held just {a-Spades}{7-Diamonds}, but an ace on the river gave "jacky chun" the winning hand in that 115,000 chip pot.

On the very next hand, "jacky chun" would raise, and then called the all in of Abhinav "OBellaCiao" Iyer, who held {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}. "jacky chun" showed two live cards with {k-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}, and they took the lead on the {7-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop. The script flipped on the {a-Hearts} turn, but it happened again when the {7-Spades} river gave "jacky chun" trips.

That hand makes "jacky chun" the first player over the half million chip marker.
