After 32 hectic levels of play in the 2021 GGPoker WSOP Online, Day 1 of Event #5: $315 Bounty Deepstack has come to an end with 45 players out of 2,989 entries making it through to the final day.
All those entries created a prize pool of $896,700 which means that the winner will walk away with at least $36,285 plus any bounties they have earned at the end of the road.
Claiming the Day 1 chip lead is "baoyang666" with 10,112,473 in chips which will be worth 144 big blinds when play resumes on Sunday, August 8 at 1 p.m. GMT. Joining "baoyang666" on the Day 1 podium are "ClassicSick" (9,722,645) and "WoohooYESYoNo" (5,378,996).
But if you look further down the chip counts, familiar names like Felipe Ketzer (3,178,020), Franco "pelaguacha" Spitale (3,167,445), Alex "PazAmor" Gelinski (2,732,643), and Jakub "Janusz1957PL" Michalak (2,593,213) for example can be found.

When the late registration period closed, there were only 750 players left to battle for a spot in the top 368 to get into the money. Ninety minutes later, Caio "shadow97" Mayrinck became the bubble boy. Robin "porty27" Ylitalo was one of the first to cash and was followed by many more familiar names like Paul Teoh, Wiktor Malinowski, Konstantin Maslak, Jaime "JaimeStaples1" Staples, GGPoker TwitchSquad member Kevin Martin, and Chris Moorman for example.
Tyler "TheRayGuy" Cornell was one of three players to bust in the final hand of the night when he bet-shoved on the flop with top pair to see him bust against the flush "baoyang666" had flopped for the chip lead. The remaining 45 players get to reset and prepare for an exciting final day which will resume with Level 33. This level features a small blind of 35,000, a big blind of 70,000, and a running ante of 8,500.
Level duration for the final day will remain at 15 minutes until the final table has been reached as the levels will then go up once a certain amount of hands have been played. All the final table players' names will also be revealed once the final table starts.
