A player opened to 300 and two players in late position called. Tony Miles squeezed from the button to 1,800. One of the players from late position called and it went heads up to the flop of {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{10-Spades}.

Miles bet 3,400 and the late position player called, bringing in the {k-Diamonds} turn.

Both players checked to the river which was the {7-Diamonds}. The late position player bet 3,500 and Miles called with {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} for a set of jacks. The opponent shook his head and said "two pair".

Guerreri Finds an Early Double

With more than 3,000 in the pot and {q-Clubs}{j-Spades}{6-Clubs} on the board, Carl Guerreri checked from the big blind. The under-the-gun player bet 2,000 and Guerreri raised to 5,000. The under-the-gun player shoved and Guerreri called.

Guerreri had three queens but needed to dodge the flush draw. The turn was {6-Spades} and Guerreri locked up the pot with queens full of sixes. The river was the {8-Clubs} completing the club flush but the full house took the pot.

His opponent bet 700 and Gardner called to see the turn which was the {9-Spades}. His opponent didn't slow down and bet 1,300, Gardner raised to 4,000, the opponent called.

The river was the {3-Diamonds}, the middle position player bet 5,000 and Gardner called with a king high straight with {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts} besting his opponents set of fives.

One-time WSOP gold bracelet winner James Hess raised to 6,500 from middle position and a player on the button shoved his last 7,500. The player in the big blind shoved with the other players covered and Hess made the call.
