After ten levels of mixed draw-game action, Robert Mizrachi bagged an impressive 201,000 chips and the chip lead going into Day 2 of Event #18: $2,500 Mixed Triple Draw Lowball.

That feat is made all the more impressive given how stacked today’s field was. Amongst the players were no fewer than two dozen WSOP gold-bracelet holders. Of those, several will return for Day 2 on October 9 – including Julien Martini (180,000), Frank Kassela (54,500), Daniel Negreanu (61,000), David Benamine (112,000), David “ODB” Baker (50,000), Steve Zolotow (37,500), Scott Seiver (177,000), Benny Glaser (129,000) and defending champion Dan Zack, who bagged up a healthy 127,500.

In total, there were 253 entries, which generated a $562,925 prize pool. Thirty-eight players will cash, with a min-cash being worth $4,097. The eventual winner will take home $134,390. 104 players ultimately survived the first day.

Play is set to begin at 2 p.m. on October 9 and continue for ten more hour-long levels. Limits will begin at 2,500/5,000 and unlike Day 1, players will get a 60-minute dinner break after level 16 (~8:30 p.m.)

PokerNews will continue to bring live coverage for the rest of the tournament, so be sure to come back for all the mixed triple draw lowball action.
