Event #20: $,1000 FLIP & GO Day 2 gets underway at 1:00 p.m. At the beginning of Day 1, there were a total of 155 players that advanced from their tables and only 23 found a bag at the end of the day.
Starting the day as the top stack is Huy Lam with a total of 3,150,000 in chips. Corey Bierra is second in chips with 1,880,000 and David Towson Is right on his tail with 1,860,000. They will be looking to take home a World Series of Poker gold bracelet and the grand prize of $180,665 as they battle until a winner is crowned.
Blinds will be starting on level 13, 20,000/40,000 with a 40,000 big blind ante and all 23 players have a payout of $7,275 locked up.

The clock has started and the cards in the air on Day 2 with the blinds resuming at 20,000/40,000 and a 40,000 big blind ante.
Jason Beck opened under-the-gun for his entire stack of 405,000 and the action folded around to Fred Goldberg who re-shoved his stack. The blinds quickly folded and both hands were tabled.

Beck only had one overcard and the flop of was no help. The turn was exactly what he was looking for when the fell. The river sealed his double up when the landed.

Victor Shih raised to 80,000 from under-the-gun and Koveh Waysei defended from the big blind. The flop came and Waysei checked to Shih who continued for 55,000. Waysei pushed out a check-raise and Shih called.
The turn brought the and Waysei announced all in. Shih had around 525,000 chips remaining and eventually made the call to put himself at risk. Waysei held for two pair but Shih turned the better two pair with .
However, the river was the and Waysei improved to a full house to eliminate Shih at the start of Day 2.

Rok Gositsa raised to 80,000 under-the-gun and Jason Beck called on the button before Alex Epstein raised all-in for approximately 430,000 from the small blind. Gostisa called and Beck quickly got out of the way,

Vojtech Ruzicka raised to 80,000 and Jesse Solano ripped all of his chips in the middle for roughly 500,000. The action folded back around to Ruzicka who made the call and the dealer instructed both players to open their hands.

It was a coin flip situation but Solano couldn't get there when the board ran out . Solano took home 21st place for $7,275.

Four players saw a flop of hit the felt and Fred Goldberg started with a check from the small blind. Bradley Rhodes was in the big blind with just shy of 200,000 chips remaining and pushed all in. The action folded back to Goldberg who went into the tank for a minute before making the call.

Goldberg was in a great position with Rhodes only drawing to the bottom end of the straight. The on the turn and the on the river would not improve Rhodes who was eliminated in 20th place.
