Welcome back to the penultimate day of Event #23: $1,500 Eight Game Mix 6-Handed. Today, we have 144 players returning to The Rio today at 2:00 p.m. to play ten 60-minute levels, with a break after every two levels, along with a 60-minute dinner break after level 21, or at ~8:30 p.m. (PST) local time. The returning hopefuls will all be chasing a World Series of Poker gold bracelet and the $137,969 first place cash prize.

Out of the 144 remaining hopefuls, there are an astonishing 28 bracelet winners still in the hunt. A handful of those looking to add to their coveted WSOP hardware collection includes Josh Arieh (169,300), Yuri Dzivielevski (163,300), Eli Elezra (95,300), Michael Mizrachi (178,700), and David Williams (175,200). He eventually opted to call and quickly mucked when Glantz tabled {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades} for two pair queens and tens, and Glantz was awarded the pot.

Michael Mizrachi went to the flop in a blind versus blind confrontation against Maksim Pisarenko. "I have a really bad hand now," Mizrachi said as he drew three. Pisarenko took two.

Both players checked and Mizrachi drew two while Pisarenko took one. This time Pisarenko bet and Mizrachi called. Mizrachi took one while Pisarenko stood pat.

"You're in trouble now," Mizrachi said as he bet. Pisarenko called.

"8-7 perfect," Mizrachi said and Pisarenko mucked.

The dealer flopped the {5-Hearts}{4-Spades}{9-Clubs} and Mizrachi catapulted into the lead. The turn was a {k-Spades} and no help to Espeseth. The river card was the {8-Spades} and Mizrachi was awarded the pot with his one pair, fives, and Cody Espeseth was eliminated in 17th Place.

Sami Hamid was down to his last 30,000 and got them all in on fourth street. Tyler Willse and Ryan Leng both made the call. Willse bet on fifth street and Leng called. Willse bet again on sixth, but this time Leng folded.

On seventh street, Willse showed {9-Spades}{7-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for two pair, eights and sevens, and Hamid had {a-Spades}{8-Spades}{9-Hearts} for only a pair of sixes to bust in 16th place.

A few hands earlier on this table, Bob Mather had been eliminated in 18th place.
