Fuchs Pulls Ahead of Hellmuth

Niveau 16 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Badeucey

Phil Hellmuth raised and was called by Carol Fuchs. On the first draw, Hellmuth took two while Fuchs took one. Both checked and did so again when the same drawing action repeated. It checked to the final draw on which Fuchs patted and Hellmuth took one.

Hellmuth checked and Fuchs bet for Hellmuth to tank-fold. He was suspecting to get half while Mike Matusow was certain that Fuchs would have scooped. "I had a Badugi and a low," Fuchs said in table chat as she pulled ahead of Hellmuth in the counts.

Matt Glantz: {j-}{6-}{2-}{3-}{9-}{a-} / {7-}
Ryan Miller: {8-}{7-} / {4-}{5-}{7-}{5-} / {q-}

Ryan Miller had doubled his short stack through Phil Hellmuth and was then at risk shortly after. The cards were already mashed together and Miller was drawing very slim on sixth after pairing up the seven and five. Glantz got there with a seven-six and Miller departed in 13th place.

Negreanu Folds the Flop

Niveau 16 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Big O Hi-Lo

On a flop of {j-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades}, Adam Friedman bet and Daniel Negreanu raised. "I raise the maximum," Friedman announced and Negreanu folded near instantly while exposing the {j-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}. Friedman flashed the nut low draw and a set before raking in the pot.

In the meanwhile, there has been some discussion going on as the floor staff announced they would play until the end of the level only and restart at 1pm local time. Scott Seiver and Daniel Negreanu were curious about that as they want to potentially join Day 2 of the $50,000 High Roller.

Negreanu Wins Three-Way Pot

Niveau 16 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Seven Card Stud

Adam Friedman: {x-}{x-} / {2-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} fold on sixth
Carol Fuchs: {x-}{x-} / {8-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{9-Spades}{4-Diamonds} / {x-}
Daniel Negreanu: {x-}{x-} / {j-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{a-Spades} / {x-}

Daniel Negreanu checked on fifth and so did Adam Friedman and Carol Fuchs. Negreanu then bet sixth and seventh to get called only by Fuchs. "Aces up," Negreanu announced and rolled over the {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{7-Hearts} for aces and sevens to win the pot.

Seiver Wins Some Off Miller

Niveau 16 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Badeucey

After the final draw, Scott Seiver just called a bet by Ryan Miller and the cards were exposed. Miller had the {6-Spades}{5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} / {8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for a three-card six-five and an eight-six low while Seiver turned over {6-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{2-Clubs} / {8-Spades}{5-Spades} for the three card six-four and the same eight-six low to earn three quarters.

"How much did you draw on second, two?" Miller inquired and Seiver replied "no, just one."
