Karambinis More Than Doubles With Aces

Niveau 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

A short-stack was already all in when Jim Karambinis and a player in middle position saw a three-way flop. When the dealer spread {3-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{k-Clubs}, Karambinis' opponent grabbed a stack of his chips and, before he could more than forward, Karambinis beat him to the pot with his last 171,000.

His opponent argued that he hadn't acted yet, but the rest of the table said there was enough forward motion to deem his move a bet. The bet stood, and Karambinis was all in.

The short-stack showed {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}, middle position showed {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades} for top pair, while Karambinis had them both beat with {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}. Karambinis secured the hand when he hit a set on the {a-Hearts} river to double up. The short-stack was eliminated.

"Game change for you," a tablemate told Karambinis.

Walker Takes Out Chauderson In Million Chip Pot

Niveau 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Charles Walker and Paul Chauderson were heads-up on the river with the board showing {8-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}. Chauderson bet 60,000 from the big blind before Walker, from middle position, moved all in.

Chauderson called after a few seconds and showed {q-Spades}{8-Clubs} for trip eights. Walker, though, had hit a fortunate river, making a full house with {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}.

The stacks were counted down and Walker had Chauderson's 650,000 covered. "Oh my God. Unbelievable," Chauderson said.

Before Chauderson left, he and Walker exchanged a handshake. "I support you tomorrow," Chauderson told him.

"I'm going to win this whole tournament," Walker said.

Kluchman Knocks Out Walker

Niveau 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Charles Walker, who won the massive pot off Paul Chauderson earlier in this level, went from being chip leader to out.
