Elezra Caught Bluffing to Bust

Niveau 27 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Eli Elezra
Eli Elezra

The flop read {7-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}. Three players checked it.

The turn was the {6-Hearts}. Ken Coplon bet 275,000 from the small blind, Eli Elezra called from the big blind and the third player in the hand folded from middle position.

The river came the {6-Spades}. Coplon checked, Elezra shoved his single stack of chips forward to go all in for about 450,000. Coplon snap called.

Elezra immediately said "you win, I have nothing". and showed the {j-Clubs}{10-Hearts}, while Coplon tabled the {k-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for top pair and Elezra walked away with his deep run ended.

Lyons Stays Around

Niveau 28 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Pat Lyons
Pat Lyons

Carlo Darelli raised to 255,000 from under the gun and Pat Lyons defended from the big blind. Lyons led out for around 300,000 on the {a-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} flop before Darelli raised to 900,000.

Lyons called, then shoved on the {k-Diamonds} turn. Darelli called with {a-}{q-}, but Lyons had made a full house with {4-Hearts}{4-Clubs}. Left needing an ace or a king or a higher full house, Darelli instead bricked the {8-Spades} river.

Darelli and Lyons had formed quite a friendship at this table. "If I had to give it to somebody," Darelli said.

Dwayne Sullivan Eliminated in 25th Place ($20,016)

Niveau 30 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
Dwayne Sullivan
Dwayne Sullivan

Dwayne Sullivan lost a large chunk of his stack in a preflop all in as he was holding {6-}{6-} vs the {a-}{k-} of John McNaughton whom he slightly covered.

The flop came {10-}{7-}{2-} to keep Sullivan ahead but the turn was the {a-Spades} to send him behind. The river was the {3-Hearts} and Sullivan was left with less than two big blinds.

He would lose his short stack on the next hand to Kenneth Wroblewski. The blinds ate up the rest of his stack as his {k-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} could not best the {q-Spades}{q-Clubs} of Wroblewski when the board stayed clean for the queens.
