Wagner Doubles Through Farah

Niveau 22 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Larry Wagner raised in middle position to 65,000 and from late position Rafael Jarufe Farah went all-in with the covering stack. Larry Wagner went into the tank before eventually making the call for 260,000.

Larry Wagner: {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Rafael Jarufe Farah: {6-Hearts}{6-Spades}

The flop brought no help to Wagner with a {4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop, but the turn of {q-Clubs} put Wagner squarely in front with fours full of queens. The river came a {j-Spades} and Wagner received a double through Farah.

Cohodes and Coplon Chop; Esposito Gets Away

Niveau 22 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

David Cohodes put out a bet of 200,000 on a flop of {10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} and action was on Michael Esposito in the big blind.

Esposito tanked for several minutes before releasing his hand. Ken Coplon in early position, though, raised all in and Cohodes snap-called.

Both players showed the same flopped straight, {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts} for Coplon and {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs} for Cohodes.

"Thank God I folded," Esposito yelled as he shot up from his seat, saying he had {q-}{8-} for a lower straight.

Coplon picked up a flush draw on the {j-Hearts} turn, but the river fell {10-Clubs} and they split the pot.

Davis Rivers Rindone

Niveau 22 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Robert Davis raised to 65,000 on the button and the small blind called the initial raise. From the big blind Ronald Rindone went all-in for 270,000. Davis thought for a second before re-raising to 570,000 to which the small blind quickly folded.

Ronald Rindone: {a-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}
Robert Davis: {q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}

The flop came out {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{7-Spades}, giving Rindone a pair of aces. The turn brought a {5-Clubs} and Davis shouted "King me!" before the river of {k-Hearts} was dealt. Davis had rivered a straight which was good enough for the pot as Rindone left the tournament area.
