Faroni Picks Up Aces to Stay Alive

Niveau 19 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Abraham Faroni opened to 70,000 from under the gun and Nathan Zimnik just called in the big blind. The flop came {8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and Zimnik checked to Faroni who bet the pot for 160,000. Zimnik raised and Faroni called off his extra 50,000 chips.

Abraham Faroni: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{3-Spades}
Nathan Zimnik: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

Faroni was ahead with his aces and the {3-Diamonds} on the turn along with the {9-Spades} on the river didn't change anything as he held on for a double up.

Deeb and Karakitukov Chip Up; Le Doubles

Niveau 18 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Veselin Karakitukov check-called a bet worth 210,000 by Ben Lamb on the {a-Spades}{10-Spades}{7-Hearts}{2-Spades}{q-Clubs} river. Lamb's cards were briefly exposed but Karakitukov had it beat with the {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}.

Matthew Wantman then check-called a bet worth 75,000 by Shaun Deeb on the {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}{7-Diamonds} flop. The {3-Clubs} turn was checked and Wantman bet the {2-Hearts} river for 170,000. Deeb called and wanted to see all cards as Wantman briefly flashed a busted wrap which included the {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}. Deeb dragged in the pot with {a-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{3-Spades} for aces and treys.

Last but not least, Tommy Le raised and called the three-bet to 96,000 by Ben Yu on the button. Le jammed the {10-Clubs}{6-Spades}{4-Clubs} flop for 106,000 and Yu called.

Tommy Le: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{2-Clubs}
Ben Yu: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}{k-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}

The {2-Diamonds} turn gave Le two pair and those held on the {7-Hearts} river.

Lamb Keeps Climbing

Niveau 18 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Ben Lamb was in position in a hand against Ben Yu on the flop of {4-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{6-Spades}. Lamb bet 55,000 when checked to and Yu called, while a third player in the hand folded.

Yu checked again on the {9-Clubs} turn and Lamb put out a bet of 210,000. Yu called.

Yu checked once more on the {k-Clubs} river and Lamb checked back.

"What do you got?" Lamb asked.

"Ace-high," Yu said and showed a missed flush draw with {a-Spades}{q-Spades}{j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}.

Lamb showed {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} for a pair of aces and took down the pot. "That was a big f***ing hand," he said as he stacked his chips.

Jamasi Calls Down Le

Farhad Jamasi raised the pot on the button and Tommy Le called in the small blind. On a {k-Spades}{10-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop, Le check-called a pot-sized bet worth 144,000 by Jamasi and the {4-Diamonds} turn went check, check, as Jamasi carefully checked his remaining 245,000 before opting to check back.

Le then bet the {2-Clubs} river for 125,000 and Jamasi mulled over his decision for a minute before opting to call. The {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} for a missed wrap by Le were no good, as Jamasi earned the pot with {a-Spades}{10-Clubs}{8-Spades}{6-Clubs}.
