Chen Loses Two In a Row

Niveau 12 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

After just sending a healthy amount of chips across the table to Alan Sternberg, Tommy Chen found himself in another pot with Shaun Deeb. Deeb raised to 6,000 from under the gun and Chen called from the big blind.

The flop came {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and both players stuck in 10,000 chips to see the {4-Spades} on the turn. Chen led out with a bet of 16,500 and Deeb stuck around for the {2-Clubs} on the river.

Chen checked this time and Deeb counted out a bet of 60,000. Chen quickly mucked his cards and Deeb collected the pot.

Sternberg Rivers Ausmus

Niveau 12 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Picking up the action on the flop of {a-Spades}{8-Spades}{4-Diamonds}, Alan Sternberg and Jeremy Ausmus were heads-up in a pot. The two players wasted little time getting all of the chips in the middle with Ausmus being the player at risk for a little over 50,000.

Jeremy Ausmus: {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades}
Alan Sternberg: {j-Spades}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds}

Ausmus currently held the best high and best low hand but Sternberg had outs for both. The {6-Diamonds} on the turn didn't change much but the {2-Clubs} on the river gave Sternberg a wheel to send Ausmus to the rail.

Zinno Wins One Against Koral

Niveau 12 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Anthony Zinno

The hand was discovered on a completed board of {5-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} with Anthony Zinno who had fired out a bet of 30,000 chips which sent his opponent, Tom Koral, deep into the tank.

After a while, Koral eventually opted to call and mucked after Zinno tabled {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{8-Spades}, for trip eights with an ace kicker, and was awarded the pot.

Hellmuth Wheels His Way to a Double Up

Niveau 11 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Three players saw a flop of {7-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Spades} and Mike Wattel was the first to throw in a bet of 15,000 in early position. Anthony Ajlouny called from the cutoff and Phil Hellmuth pushed all in for 44,500 on the button. Wattel re-raised which got Ajlouny to fold and the two hands were tabled.

Phil Hellmuth: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{q-Clubs}{4-Hearts}
Mike Wattel: {a-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}

The turn brought the {5-Hearts} and Hellmuth made a wheel to take a commanding lead. The {a-Hearts} on the river would not pair the board and Hellmuth scooped the pot for a double up.
