Colpoys and Rapaski Find Favorable Runouts

Niveau 13 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

A completed board of {j-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} was spread across the table with Dan Colpoys and Dustin Dirksen heads-up in the blinds. Colpoys turned over {10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} for jack-high straight and the third low. Dirksen tabled {7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades} to chop the low hand. Colpoys collected three-quarters of the 270,000 chip pot.

At another table, Anthony Ajlouny and Ryan Rapaski went heads-up to a flop of {10-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}. Rapaski fired out a bet from the small blind and Ajlouny pushed all in for just a few chips more.

"I've got nothing. I was just firing away," Rapaski announced as he still made the call. Rapaski turned over {a-Clubs}{7-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Spades} and was up against a set of nines of Ajlouny with {k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}.

The {2-Spades} landed on the turn which got Rapask's hopes up. "That's a good turn card." The river was the {3-Clubs} and Rapaski made a wheel to eliminate Ajlouny.

After Vengrin thought it over for a couple of minutes, he opted to fold, and Kupin was awarded the hand.

Esposito Sends One to the Rail

Niveau 13 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

John Esposito was heads-up with an opponent on a flop of {10-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{5-Hearts}. After a bet and a couple of raises, the two players got all of their chips in the middle. Esposito showed {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds} for the nut-low draw while his opponent held {k-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} for a pair and flush draw.

The {9-Clubs} on the turn was a brick and changed nothing but the {6-Diamonds} on the river gave Esposito everything. He made a straight and the nut-low and sent his opponent to the rail.

Three players saw a flop of {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and the action checked around to the {9-Hearts} on the turn. Benny Glaser led out with a bet of 16,000 from the big blind and was called by Phil Hellmuth in middle position.

The river brought the {k-Diamonds} and Glaser checked this time. Hellmuth paused for a moment before splashing in a bet of 26,000. Glaser called and Hellmuth turned over {a-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} for a nine-high flush to win the pot.
