Lots of Chops and a Double

Niveau 24 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante

5 Card Draw

Jeremy Heartberg got it in prior to the draw for his short stack with the {a-Clubs}{a-Spades} and discarded three. Kevin Gerhart looked that up with the {k-Spades}{k-Clubs} and discarded three as well. However, Gerhart made no further pair and Heartberg's {k-Clubs}{9-Spades}{4-Diamonds} barely mattered.

Heartberg was then all-in with aces in Omaha Hi-Lo against Jaswinder Lally, who had flopped kings and deuces on {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}. The turn and river brought a low and Heartberg claimed that with {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}{5-Hearts}{2-Spades} while Lally got the high portion with {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{x-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}.

Le Doubles Again; Kipnis Triples

Niveau 24 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Ian O'Hara jammed the button and Allan Le called all-in from the big blind for the 265,000 he had behind.

Allan Le: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}
Ian O'Hara: {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}

The board ran out {10-Hearts}{6-Spades}{5-Spades}{4-Clubs}{j-Spades} and Le doubled.

In the next hand, Mark Liedtke raised to 35,000 and Adam Kipnis jammed for 110,000 in the small blind. Le went over the top and Liedtke called.

Adam Kipnis: {k-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Mark Liedtke: {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Allan Le: {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}

Kipnis tripled thanks to the {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}{j-Spades}{j-Hearts}{5-Clubs} board.

O'Hara Over a Million, Swings For Le

No Limit Hold'em

Ian O'Hara picked off a huge river bluff by Allan Le on a board of {2-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{3-Spades}{10-Hearts}{5-Clubs}. O'Hara bet 80,000 on the river and was raised all-in for 325,000. O'Hara called with {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} for a set of sixes, while Le showed {a-Spades}{k-Clubs} for a failed bluff.

However, on a subsequent hand, Le doubled back up with aces and has rebuilt his stack to 300,000.

Rhodes Triples Up

Niveau 24 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante

Badeucey

Nathan Gamble raised and Joshua Rhodes three-bet, which Naoya Kihara called and Gamble filled up. Gamble took two new cards while his two opponents drew one, and he then bet to see Rhoses call all-in for 20,000 and Kihara called, too.

Gamble took two once more, Rhodes and Kihara patted. It was Kihara who bet and Gamble then folded. Two pats later the cards were exposed. Rhodes had {8-}{5-}{4-}{3-}{2-} for a Badugi and eighty-five, while Kihara was scooped.

"I should have broke the seven," he pondered about his decision making in the previous hand.

Badeucey

Jaswinder Lally just captured the short stack of PJ Cha by scooping him with {9-}{6-}{4-}{3-}{2-} low, and a 6-high badugi.

The last Canadian in the field is now approaching the million chip mark.

Razz

Phil Hellmuth: {x-}{x-} / {j-}{3-}{2-}{9-} / {x-}
Christopher Lindner: {x-}{x-} / {2-}{9-}{3-}{5-} / {x-}
Nathan Gamble: {x-}{x-} / {4-}{k-}{3-}{6-} / {x-}

Phil Hellmuth was at risk on third street and it was Christopher Lindner who bet on all streets, picking up calls from Nathan Gamble. Lindner showed a nine-five perfect and Gamble mucked. Hellmuth was not drawing dead but only exposed the {q-}{8-}{x-} to finish in 18th place for $4,429.
