Shortly before this hand, Adam Friedman loudly prayed to be the one to bust Norman Chad, even offering to finish in 16th place, because "it would be totally worth it".

His prayers were answered shortly after as Chad raised all-in in early position for 27,000 and was called in the small blind by Friedman.

A {9-Diamonds} was seemingly no help until the {9-Clubs} fell on the river, giving Friedman nines full of deuces, eliminating the legendary poker commentator and mixed-game aficionado.

He then spiked the {j-Hearts} on the turn and Friedman shot back "what the fuck was that?" with a grin on the face. Nothing changed on the {5-Diamonds} river and Friedman insisted that the coverage should read all the money went in after the flop.

Hellmuth cut out a raise, but then tossed in calling chips, declaring that he had "a pretty good seven".

Gamble rolled over {4-}{2-}{a-} in the hole for a better seven than Hellmuth. Gamble's stack now soars toward the chip lead while Hellmuth dropped about a quarter of his stack.
