Triple Up for Chad

Niveau 21 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Badeucey

Table short stack Norman Chad was at risk in a Badeucey hand. Once the cards were exposed, he tabled the {9-}{8-}{6-}{4-}{2-}. Neither Mark Liedtke with the {a-}{6-}{4-}{3-}{2-} nor Adam Friedman with the {q-}{8-}{6-}{5-}{2-} could secure a portion of the high or low pot and Chad tripled up.

Chait Scoops Hecht

Niveau 21 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Stud High Regular

Gina Hecht: {x-}{x-} / {a-Hearts}{7-Spades}{5-Hearts}{j-Clubs} / {x-}
Craig Chait: {x-}{x-} / {3-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{a-Diamonds} / {x-}

Gina Hecht bet fifth and then check-called sixth and seventh street against Craig Chait, who revealed the {10-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Diamonds}. Hecht sighed, said she had already invested too much and was scooped with her {q-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}.

Hellmuth Eliminates Andino

Niveau 21 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante
Carlos Andino
Carlos Andino

No Limit Hold'em

Carlos Andino was all-in in the small blind vs a raise in late position from Ray Henson and a call in the big blind from Phil Hellmuth.

Hellmuth and Henson checked down to the river where Hellmuth put out a bet of 10,000 which Henson folded to.

Board: {10-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{7-Spades}{2-Clubs}

Phil Hellmuth: {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}
Carlos Andino: {q-Spades}{4-Spades}

Hellmuth's straight took the pot, eliminating Andino.

Hisham Salama also recently busted, leaving the tournament with its final four six-handed tables.

Thorpe Eliminated by Elezra

Niveau 21 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante
Mike Thorpe
Mike Thorpe

Big O

The short stack of Mike Thorpe went into the middle preflop and he was looked up by Eli Elezra.

Mike Thorpe: {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}{9-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs}
Eli Elezra: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{q-Spades}{5-Spades}{3-Diamonds}

"Don't do this, don't you dare to knock out Mike," Elezra said to the dealer. The {j-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop and {6-Hearts} turn provided some threat and sure enough, Elezra got there with the {q-Clubs} river. "Sorry, they fucked you Mike."

The atmosphere on Day 2 has certainly been very jovial with plenty of banter and jokes thrown around between the mixed game regulars.
