The 2021 Main Event is in full swing with Day 4 action getting underway at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino, but there are still other events taking place before the end of the series, one of which is Event #71: $1,500 Bounty Pot-Limit Omaha (One Re-Entry) which kicks off today at 4 p.m. local time.

This tournament is a favorite for many players and draws a wide variety of people. If you knock someone out, a $500 bounty awaits. Bounties cannot be redeemed until after 11:00 p.m. on Day 1.

This is the third edition of this popular event. The inaugural version in 2018 draw in a total 833 entries, and saw Anderson Ireland emerge victorious, taking home his first WSOP gold bracelet and also his first WSOP cash of $141,161. In 2019, Maximilian Klostermeier took home the grand prize of $177,823, besting a large field of 1,130 entries.

Every entrant will receive 25,000 starting chips and will have 15 levels of 40 minutes to try to accumulate as many more as they can before bagging their stacks at the end of the day. Players will get a 20-minute break every two hours, after three levels of play. This will increase to 60-minute levels from Day 2 onward and a new champion will be crowned Saturday, November 13rd.

Late registration will be available until the end of level nine (≈ 9:45 p.m.), with only one re-entry permitted, so the action will undoubtedly keep heating up until then.

The PokerNews team will be on the floor covering the tournament, so stay tuned and be sure catch all the action.

In a five-way raised pot, the flop read {4-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{7-Clubs} when it checked to the Ian Landsman in the hijack who bet 1,000. Only the big blind and the middle position players called.

The turn paired the board with the {j-Spades} and it checked again to Landsman who sent 4,000 in the middle. His opponents folded this time.
