The play has now ended for the night and players will return tomorrow at 12 noon local time in Amazon purple. Stay tuned for some chip counts and a short recap of the day's action.
Ryan Depaulo raised to 160,000 from the button and the small blindreraised to 835,000 leaving himself with about 35,000 behind. That wasn't seemingly seen by anyone and it was believed he was all in.
Depaulo then said, "I call all in." The at-risk player then appeared to get upset saying he wanted the floor because "it was only a call." The floor confirmed it was a call and a player asked, "What's the difference? They're just going to push all-in on the flop."
Depaulo, who had about 150K behind, then expose his hand of pocket jacks, which would come into effect after the hand.
The flop came and the small blind went all in. Depaulo quickly called putting his opponent at risk for his tournament life.
Opponent:
Ryan Depaulo:
The rest of the board ran out the turn and
river and Depaulo, who was live on his phone, could be heard yelling in celebration having hit a straight on the river.
Depaulo would then get a three-hand penalty for exposing his hand early.
