Glaser Wins Pot, Hellmuth Loves How He Played It

Action picked up three-ways on fifth street between Benny Glaser, Phil Hellmuth, and Sebastian Pauli.

Pauli checked, and Glaser took the opportunity to bet. As Hellmuth called, he said, "Benny, I love the way you played this hand". Pauli also called.

Sixth street saw Pauli check again, and Glaser continued betting. Hellmuth frustratedly looked at his cards, then tossed them into the muck and began a quiet f-word laced tirade. Pauli folded behind, and Glaser dragged the pot.

Hellmuth stood up and uttered a few more choice words, telling Glaser he "started out with the worst of it and come out smelling like roses".

Glaser replied by saying that Hellmuth "just talks words that are not correct".

Action on fifth street saw Jordan Siegel with the betting lead showing {2-}{8-}{4-} versus Owen's {3-}{3-}{4-} and Brad Ruben's {q-}{5-}{7-}. Siegel bet and was called by both opponents.

On sixth street, Siegel drew a {9-} and opted to check. Ruben checked after picking up an {a-}, and Owen then bet 16,000 of his last 17,000 after getting a {7-}. Siegel raised to 32,000 and Ruben folded. Owen called for his tournament life.
