Pocket Jacks for Wong

Niveau 27 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

On a flop of {a-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{3-Hearts}, Will Givens, Diogo Veiga and SheLok Wong all checked to the {2-Spades} turn. Givens checked again before Veiga put out a bet of 175,000 and only Wong made the call.

The {10-Clubs} was the river and Veiga checked relatively quickly but Wong took some time before checking back. Veiga tabled {q-Spades}{j-Spades} for queen-high and Wong scooped the pot when he showed the {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}.

Niveau 27 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Ralph Massey
Ralph Massey

The hand was picked up on the river in what players said "was a limped pot" the board was showing {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{9-Clubs}.

Ralph Massey was all-in for 1.77 million and his opponent Kwan Kim made the call and didn't have Massey covered after the chips were counted out.

Kim showed {k-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and Massey was showing a flopped straight with {k-Spades}{10-Spades} to eliminate Kim and more than double up his stack.

Garry Gates

Hayato Kitajima raised in middle position to 180,000 and the action folded around to Garry Gates in the big blind and he defended.

The dealer fanned a flop of {9-Spades}{7-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and both players checked to see the {7-Clubs} on the turn. Gates led out for 250,000 and Kitajima didn't take much time before putting his cards into the muck.

Quirijnen Eliminates Holodiuk

Niveau 27 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Serhii Holodiuk raised to 335K from the cutoff position leaving himself about 40,000 in chips behind when Chris Quirijnen went all-in from the small blind for 820K.

Holodiuk made the call to put himself at risk for his tournament life.

Sehii Holodiuk: {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Chris Quirjnen: {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

The board would run out {8-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{3-Spades}{6-Clubs} which would be no help to Holodiuk and he would be eliminated.

Huge Double for Casho

Niveau 27 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

All the chips went in the middle before the flop and Donny Casho was at risk for a little over 900,000 against Cooper Wilhelm.

Donny Casho: {k-Spades}{3-Clubs}
Cooper Wilhelm: {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}

Casho had one overcard and the {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop was no help. The {k-Hearts} was the turn though, giving him a bigger pair than Wilhelm and the {9-Diamonds} river was a blank as Casho doubled through Wilhelm.

Torn Doubles Then Busts

Niveau 26 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Marc Lange raised and Jonathan Torn defended from the big blind.

The dealer spread a flop of {9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{7-Spades} and Torn check-called off his remaining 405,000 and both players tabled their hands.

Jonathan Torn: {7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}
Marc Lange: {k-Clubs}{10-Hearts}

Torn had flops trips and improved to a full house on the run out of {5-Hearts} on the turn and {9-Hearts} on the river, sealing his double up.

The next hand, Adrien Amorella raised to 125,000 and Markus Prinz ripped all-in in the cutoff before Torn put his 1,175,000 in the middle as well and Amorella got out of the way.

Jonathan Torn: {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
Markus Prinz: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

It was a race and the board ran out {k-Spades}{10-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades} for Torn to be eliminated by the pair of kings of Prinz.

Niveau 26 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Jamie Nixon went all-in for 700K from early position and was called by Will Givens on the Button. Jeffrey Bailey in the big blind then went all-in for about 1.4 million.

Givens tanked for a while before making the call for the extra 700K to put both opponents at risk for their tournament lives.

Jaime Nixon: {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Jeffrey Bailey: {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Will Givens: {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}

The board would run out {9-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and the pocket tens of Nixon would triple him up. Bailey won the side pot for 1.4 million in chips.
