Mateos and Tilston Clash

Niveau 19 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Adrian Mateos raised to 400,000 from under the gun and Keith Tilston three-bet to 1,100,000 from the next seat over. Mateos fired back with a four-bet to 3,000,000 and Tilston called.

The flop was {6-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{2-Clubs} and Mateos led for 1,600,000. Tilston ran his time bank down and called.

The turn was {4-Diamonds} and Mateos continued for 2,200,000. Tilston used a time extension and called to see {8-Spades} on the river.

Mateos shoved the river for around 6,000,000. Tilston thought it over and tossed in another time extension before ultimately mucking his cards.

Soon after, Mateos and Tilston found themselves in another pot with over 2,000,000 in the middle and {6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{10-Hearts} on the board. Mateos checked and Tilston bet 800,000. Mateos called and the river was {7-Diamonds}.

Both players checked the river and Mateos turned over {j-Clubs}{6-Clubs} to take another pot from Tilston and pass the 20 million chip mark.

Tilston Doubles Into the Lead

Niveau 19 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Keith Tilston
Keith Tilston

The action folded to Keith Tilston on the button who made it 400,000 to go. Christoph Vogelsang three-bet shoved all in from the small blind and Tilston instantly called for his remaining 5,950,000 chips.

Keith Tilston: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}
Christoph Vogelsang: {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

The flop of {10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{8-Hearts} gave nothing but a straight draw to Vogelsang. The {8-Diamonds} on the turn and the {9-Diamonds} on the river kept it clean for Tilston who doubled into the chip lead.

Stephen Chidwick
Stephen Chidwick

The action folded around to Stephen Chidwick on the button who was the shortest stack on the table. Chidwick shoved all in for around 1,300,000 and Keith Tilston re-shoved all in from the small blind which got Christoph Vogelsang to fold his big blind.

Stephen Chidwick: {j-Spades}{7-Spades}
Keith Tilston: {a-Hearts}{5-Spades}

The flop came {10-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} to give Tilston the only pair. The {4-Spades} on the turn gave Chidwick a straight draw but he was unable to connect with the {8-Diamonds} on the river.

Kincaid and Mateos Win on River Bets

Niveau 18 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

David Peters raised to 320,000 from under the gun and was called by Keith Tilston in the hijack and John Kincaid in the big blind. The flop came {k-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and the action checked through to the {2-Hearts} turn and the {10-Clubs} river.

Kincaid finally threw in a bet of 550,000 and Peters folded but Tilston called. Kincaid showed {2-Spades}{2-Clubs} for a set of deuces and scooped the pot.

A couple of hands later, Peters made it 620,000 from the small blind and Adrian Mateos called from the big blind. The flop fell {q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and once again the action was checked to the {5-Hearts} turn and the {a-Clubs} river.

Peters bombed a bet of 1,050,000 and Mateos quickly flicked in a chip to call. Peters showed {9-Spades}{4-Spades} for just nine-high and Mateos tabled his {a-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} to win the pot.
