Tice Eliminated by Underwood

Landon Tice
Landon Tice

Benjamin Underwood opened in late position and a very short-stacked Landon Tice moved all-in from the big blind with just a single blind.

Landon Tice: {10-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}
Benjamin Underwood: {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}

"At least make it fair," Tice said before the flop of {j-Hearts}{6-Spades}{a-Hearts} came out to give his opponent a set. "That's not fair. Am I just drawing dead?"

The board finished out {a-Clubs}{q-Spades} to give Underwood a full house and the young up-and-coming poker star hit the rail.

"F*** you, poker," Tice said as he walked away.

Song Falls Behind; Rivers Broadway to Bust Rosario

Niveau 27 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Stephen Song
Stephen Song

Stephen Song opened in middle position, the cutoff called, and Edgardo Rosario jammed in his 600,000 or so chips from the big blind. Song re-jammed and the cutoff folded.

Edgardo Rosario: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Stephen Song: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}

The {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{8-Spades} flop put Rosario ahead, but he was still in a precarious situation. The {8-Clubs} came on the turn to give Song more outs, and the {q-Spades} completed the board to complete Song's straight and knock out Rosario.

With 27 players remaining, the three-table redraw will now begin.

Daniel James Eliminated in 19th Place ($12,165)

Daniel James
Daniel James

Chris Moorman opened to 240,000 in the hijack, Daniel James three-bet to 625,000 on the button, and Arturo Segura jammed for 2.33 million in the big blind. Only James called.

Arturo Segura: {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}
Daniel James: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

The board ran out {j-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{8-Spades}{5-Clubs} to keep Segura's cowboys in front and send him the huge pot.

Shortly after that hand, James was left with a short stack and got his remaining 350,000 chips in against Jonathan Borenstein.

Daniel James: {k-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}
Jonathan Borenstein: {a-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}

The board ran out {q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} to send James to the rail. Meanwhile, the remaining players will now converge on two tables.

Melanie Weisner moved all-in for 500,000 from early position and Stephen Song called on the button.

Melanie Weisner: {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}
Stephen Song: {a-Hearts}{4-Clubs}

Weisner didn't get much help from the flop of {2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}, though she picked up a flush draw on the {k-Hearts} turn. Sadly for Weisner, the river bricked out with the {k-Clubs} and she was eliminated.
