Landon Tice with Over 400K in Chips

Niveau 17 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Landon Tice
Landon Tice

Landon Tice was involved in a hand with the pot of over 50,000 in chips already and the board was reading {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}. A player in the big blind checked to Tice who bet 15,000 and only a player in the button called.

The turn was {10-Spades} and Tice bet 50,000. The button made the call and the river was {a-Diamonds}. Tice bet about 100,000 leaving 17,000 behind but the button moved all in to put Tice at risk.

Tice quickly made the call and the button showed {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} but Tice showed {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} for the straight to scoop the pot.

Kiang Turns Jack to Double

Niveau 17 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

The hijack player opened to 23,000, Eric Kiang called in the small blind, and the big blind, who has been laughing and having fun all day, jammed. The hijack folded and Kiang called off his remaining stack.

Eric Kiang: {k-Spades}{j-Spades}
Big Blind: {2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}

"Deuces never loses," the big blind said. "Put that in the blog."

The {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} came on the flop, and the {j-Clubs} hit the turn to put Kiang in front. The {7-Diamonds} completed the board to prove that, sometimes, deuces do indeed "loses".

"Alright I take it back, don't put that in the blog," the big blind said as Kiang chipped up.
