The second and final flight of Event #83: $1,500 The Closer is set to begin at 11 a.m. local time at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino.
In Day 1a, 802 players started the day and only 25 ended the day with a stack for Day 2. Osman Ihlamur bagged the chip lead with 1,765,000 chips. Some other notables who bagged a stack include Kenny Hallaert (1,250,000), Chris Moorman (1,250,000), and Stephen Song (535,000).
All players will start with 25,000 chips and Day 1b will play a total of 22 levels with each level lasting 30 minutes. There will be a 20-minute break every 4 levels and a 75-minute dinner break after level 12 (~5:40 p.m.). One re-entry is allowed per flight and late registration will remain open until the end of the dinner break (~6:55 p.m.).
