Aldemir Doubles Through Smith

Niveau 11 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Koray Aldemir shoved for 245,000 in the cutoff and action folded to Dan Smith in the big blind. He held his cards in his hand and confirmed the count before making the call.

Koray Aldemir: {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Dan Smith: {a-Hearts}{7-Clubs}

The {9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} flop put Aldemir ahead, and the {9-Spades} turn guaranteed his double as the meaningless {k-Diamonds} completed the board.

Seidel Stopped by Schutten

Niveau 11 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Erik Seidel
Erik Seidel

Erik Seidel opened to 50,000 in middle position, Andrew Lichtenberger three-bet in the cutoff, and Brekstyn Schutten cold four-bet to 375,000 on the button. Seidel called with only 25,000 behind, and Lichtenberger surrendered his hand.

The dealer spread the {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{3-Hearts} flop and Seidel's remaining 25,000 went into the middle.

Erik Seidel: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}
Brekstyn Schutten: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

The {7-Diamonds} turn changed nothing, and the {7-Hearts} river failed to provide an ace or king, sending the nine-time bracelet winner to the rail.

Schutten Wins with a Bet on the River

Niveau 11 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

The action folded to Laszlo Bujtas on the button who made it 60,000 to go. Andrew Lichtenberger and Brekstyn Schutten called from the blinds. The flop came {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and Lichtenberger led out with a bet of 50,000. Schutten called and Bujtas quickly folded.

The turn was the {2-Diamonds} and Lichtenberger checked this time. Schutten tossed in a bet of 100,000 and Lichtenberger called to see the {5-Spades} on the river. Lichtenberger checked again and Schutten counted out a bet of 325,000. Lichtenberger finally let his hand go and Schutten raked in the pot.

Lichtenberger Eliminates Chidwick and Perry

Niveau 11 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Andrew Lichtenberger
Andrew Lichtenberger

Punnat Punsri opened to 50,000 under the gun, Andrew Lichtenberger three-bet to 140,000 in the cutoff, and Stephen Chidwick jammed for 180,000 on the button. Sean Perry then moved all in for 610,000 in the small blind, Punsri folded, and Lichtenberger called.

Stephen Chidwick: {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Sean Perry: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Andrew Lichtenberger: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

Perry took out his phone to record as the dealer fanned the {j-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop and put down the {3-Clubs} turn.

"I need to hit a one-outer," Perry stated.

However, it was not to be as the {j-Clubs} landed on the river to secure the pot for Lichtenberger, while Chidwick and Perry were eliminated.

Lamb and Vogelsang Bow Out

Niveau 11 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Ben Lamb pushed all in for 240,000 in early position and was called by Punnat Punsri in the cutoff. Lamb opened {8-Spades}{8-Hearts} but was in trouble against the {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs} of Punsri.

The flop came {7-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Hearts} which provided no help to Lamb. The {9-Hearts} on the turn gave him a straight draw but the {a-Diamonds} on the river gave Punsri a set of aces.

At the table next door, Sean Winter opened to 60,000 from under the gun and was called by Mike Lang in the hijack. Christoph Vogelsang shipped all in for 485,000 in the cutoff and Winter looked him up.

Winter held {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs} but Vogelsang had two live cards with {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}. The board ran out {7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} which missed both players and Vogelsang was eliminated.

Gostisa Triples; Bonomo Busts

Niveau 11 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Rok Gostisa
Rok Gostisa

Justin Bonomo opened to 50,000 in middle position, Chris Hunichen called in the hijack, Shaun Deeb called in the cutoff, and Rok Gostisa shoved in the big blind for 270,000. Bonomo then moved all his chips in, Hunichen had both covered and moved all in as well, and Deeb folded.

Rok Gostisa: {k-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
Justin Bonomo: {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}
Chris Hunichen: {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

Hunichen was ahead but the {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} flop gave Bonomo a flush draw. The {j-Diamonds} hit the turn to put Gostisa ahead, and the {7-Diamonds} completed the board to miss all of Bonomo's draws and secure the triple for Gostisa. Hunichen took a side pot, while Bonomo made his exit.

Ivey and Aldemir Clash After Early Double-Ups

Phil Ivey
Phil Ivey

Phil Ivey opened to 50,000 in middle position and Koray Aldemir ripped all in from the small blind. Ivey quickly called off his shorter of the two stacks for 565,000.

Phil Ivey: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Koray Aldemir: {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}

The flop came {a-Spades}{q-Spades}{j-Spades} which also gave Ivey a royal flush draw to go with the best hand. The {7-Hearts} on the turn nor the {10-Clubs} on the river was any help to Aldemir who doubled up Ivey.
