Maguire continued by betting and Sayer called. Both drew one.

Again action went bet call but this time Sayer stood pat while Maguire drew one.

Sayer bet after the last draw and Maguire went into the tank before calling, only to lose to Sayer's {8-}{7-}{5-}{3-}{2-}.

However, Maguire would chip up the next hand as he secured a double up after moving all in.

Action folded around to Richard Bai in the small blind who moved all in for his last 35,000. Georgios Sotiropoulos made the call out of the big blind to put Bai at risk.

Bai took two cards on the first draw to Sotiropoulos' one. On the second draw, Bai again drew two cards, and Sotiropoulos took just one. The final draw saw Bai once more draw two cards while Sotiropoulos stood pat.

Sotiropoulos showed {9-}{7-}{4-}{3-}{2-}. Bai turned over {8-}{4-}{2-}, leaving him drawing thin but live. However, his hopes were dashed when he turned over {a-} and did not bother peeling the meaningless fifth card and instead made a hasty exit.

Zhong Draws Three to Make Number Two

Yufei Zhong opened on the button and was met by a three-bet from Hieu Luu out of the big blind. Zhong made the call to send the two players heads up to the initial draw.

Luu stood pat, causing Zhong to remark that he "was in trouble" as he took three cards. Luu led out and was called by Zhong.

On the second draw Luu stood pat again while Zhong drew three. Luu bet for a second time, only to see Zhong raise. Looking confused, Luu eventually called.

The third draw saw both players stand pat. Luu, wary, checked and Zhong immediately threw out a bet. "How good are you?" asked Luu as, after some deliberation, he mucked his hand. "Good fold", said Zhong as he tabled number two.

Heafner drew another two on the second draw, Hui stood pat again and Zhong took two. Heafner then check-raised a bet from Zhong, who in turn responded with a re-raise. Far from dissuading Heafner, he actually came back over the top of Zhong's raise. Zhong ended the button clicking at that point by just calling.

The final draw saw Heafner stand pat, Hui drew one, and Zhong decline the option to take more cards. Heafner and Zhong both showed {7-}{6-}{4-}{3-}{2-} while Hui, up against the second nuts, was somehow still drawing live holding {7-}{4-}{3-}{2-}. He could not find the necessary five, however, instead turning over {6-}, sending him home in 12th Place, good for $5,054.
