Prinzvonsachsen's Pair Sends Daterao to Rail

Niveau 13 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Olav Prinzvonsachsen opened from the hijack for 10,500. Jugal Daterao raised to 31,000 from the small blind. Prinzvonsachsen made the call, giving heads-up action to the flop.

On the {4-Spades}{9-Spades}{k-Diamonds} flop, Prinzvonsachsen fired for another 21,000. Daterao put in the check raise to 42,000, and got called.

On the {10-Diamonds} turn, Daterao moved all in. Prinzvonsachsen made the call fairly quickly.

Jugal Daterao: {a-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}
Olav Prinzvonsachsen: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}

The board completed {2-Spades}, leaving Prinzvonsachsen's pair of kings as the best hand, sending Daterao to the rail.

Snitsar Triples Up with Aces vs. Kings vs. Queens

Niveau 13 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

The hijack opened to 8,000 and Stanislav Snitsar raised to 23,500 on the button. Steven Jones, with a stack of 210,000, went all-in from the small blind.

The hijack called for his 107,000-chip stack and Snitsar also put his 125,000 in chips into the middle.

Hijack: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Stanislav Snitsar: {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}
Steven Jones: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}

The {10-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts} put Snitsar way out in front and his aces would hold as the board ran out {6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}.

Snitsar, who finished in eighth place in Event #11: $600 Deep Stack for $40,378, is now making another fantastic Day 2 run.

Dzivielevski Gets Aces to Eliminate One

Niveau 13 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

A middle position player opened to 8,000 and the next player to act flat-called. The action folded to Yuri Dzivielevski in the big blind, who three-bet to 40,000.

The initial opener folded while the flat-caller snap-back-jammed a stack of about 200,000. Dzivielevski quickly called with the opponent covered.

Opponent: {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Yuri Dzivielevski: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}

The opponent had run into it as Dzivielevski held the best possible starting hand. The board ran out {2-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} to lock up the pot for Dzivielevski and send the opponent to the rail.

Abi-Zeid Making Early Day 2 Run After Latest Knockout

Niveau 13 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

After George Abi-Zeid opened for about 10,000, Johnathan Blake shoved his final 65,000 chips into the middle and Abi-Zeid snap-called.

Johnathan Blake: {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
George Abi-Zeid: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}

Despite having a huge lead, Abi-Zeid fell behind on the {q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{6-Clubs} flop but had Blake drawing dead on the {j-Spades} turn as Abi-Zeid made a straight. The {10-Spades} completed the board.

After starting the day with 241,000, Abi-Zeid is now one of the bigger stacks in the Bally's Ballroom with around 550,000 chips.

Koenig Rivers Trip Queens vs. Sanchez's Pocket Aces

Niveau 13 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

In what was already a massive pot on a {6-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{4-Clubs} board, the {q-Diamonds} on the river had William Koenig move all-in on the river from middle position.

Marco Sanchez, who covered but only had about 45,000 more chips behind, deliberated from the cutoff for a couple minutes before finally calling with his {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}.

Unfortunately for the California native, Koenig cracked his aces on the river, with his {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades} good for trip queens and the 270,000-chip pot.

Dollins' Pair Good for Double Up

Niveau 13 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Action was picked up with 90,000 already in the pot and a board of {2-}{3-}{j-}{8-}{k-}. Alex Visbisky had moved all in from middle position. Michael Dollins, in the big blind, had the effective stack of 114,500 and was now faced with a decision to play for all of them. The floor had already been called for a clock. As the floor began his countdown from five, Dollins made the last second call.

Michael Dollins: {k-}{q-}
Alex Visbisky: {q-}{10-}

Dollins' pair of kings on the river was good enough for the pot, and the double up.

Veksler Doesn't Show

Niveau 13 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Before blinds went up, Pavlo Veksler opened to 7,000 from the cutoff and Anthony Hu three-bet to 28,000 from the small blind. The big blind tank-folded and Veksler four-bet to 53,000. Hu made the call.

Hu checked on the flop of {5-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} and called a continuation bet of 37,000 from Veksler. Hu checked again on the {8-Diamonds} turn and Veksler quickly checked back.

Hu checked again on the {k-Spades} river and Veksler took a moment before putting out a stack of green 25,000-chips to put his opponent all-in. Hu fidgeted around in his chair and gave his cards a flick before tossing them into the muck.

Hu inquired what Veksler had but the Ukrainian did not give up any information.

Jaafar Turns a Set to Knock Out Opponent

Niveau 12 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Maxime Jaafar opened to 7,500 from middle position. Action folded to Shane Burks in the big blind, who moved all in with about 50,000 behind. After getting the count, Jaafar made the call, with his opponent covered.

Shane Burks: {10-Clubs}{a-Hearts}
Maxime Jaafar: {3-Clubs}{3-Hearts}

Burks was behind, but help arrived on the {6-Spades}{8-Spades}{a-Spades} flop, giving him top pair. That help was quickly mitigated by the {3-Diamonds} turn, giving Jaafar a set and leaving Burks drawing thin. The {2-Clubs} river completed the board, giving Jaafar the pot and sending Burks to the rail.
