Picking action up on sixth street with approximately 100,000 in the pot already, David Prager checked to Phil Ivey who bet. Prager called, and Ben Diebold and Kevin Gerhart who were also in the pot folded.

Heads-up to seventh street, Prager checked to Ivey again, who continued not to be afraid of Prager's double-paired board as he bet again.

Prager gave his decision a couple of minutes of thought before deciding to fold, sending a large pot to Ivey, whose stack continues to grow as the evening progresses.

After Thomas Taylor raised David Prager's bring-in, Adam Friedman made it three bets to go. Prager and Taylor both called and a big pot was brewing already.

On fourth street, Prager and Taylor checked to Friedman, who bet again, with both opponents calling.

Fifth street saw action check through, but sixth street saw Friedman bet after action was again checked to him. Only Prager called.

On seventh street, Prager called one more bet from Friedman, who said, "I've got it", as he rolled over a winning queen-high straight, sending his stack over 1,000,000 chips.

Ben Diebold: {6-Diamonds}{10-Spades}/{a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{a-Clubs}/{q-Diamonds}

Brandon Cantu was all in on third street for his short stack against Ben Diebold. They waited to run the cards as it was hand-for-hand play with a big pot brewing on the adjacent table between Jean Gaspard and Randy Ohel, which Gaspard ended up winning with sixes full.

The cards were then dealt with Cantu starting out ahead with a pair of tens. Diebold hit the case ten on fourth street and then got two pair on sixth to leave Canto drawing dead before the river as he angrily chucked his river card into the air as he was the bubble boy.

After losing a recent pot that dropped him under 70,000 chips, Phil Ivey has gotten healthier again thanks to a pot with Adam Friedman.

Picking the action up on fifth street, Friedman bet with a pair of sixes on board and was called by Ivey. After Friedman double paired his board on sixth he bet again, but Ivey was undeterred and called.

Friedman then checked seventh street and Ivey went into the tank. Ultimately he decided to check.

Friedman declared "queens and jacks", showing jacks in the hole to improve his two pair.

Ivey however showed his aces in the hole for a better two pair with another deuce in the hole as well to take the pot and boost his stack back to 200,000.

Adam Friedman: {x-}{x-}/{2-Spades} - folded bring-in

On third street, Cary Katz raised Adam Friedman's bring-in and was called by Kane Kalas. Todd Brunson then made it two bets and Friedman folded his bring-in. Katz then made it three bets to go and Kalas folded. Brunson made the call and was getting very short-stacked.

On fourth street Brunson called another bet from Katz, and after Katz bet again on fifth, Brunson got the last of his chips in the middle.

Katz held two pair with queens and jacks, while Brunson only had queens with a king overcard.

Brunson wouldn't be able to improve his hand and he was eliminated just before the dinner break, leaving 17 players in the field, with only two more eliminations until the money is reached.

Diebold bet sixth and seventh with Brunson calling down.

Straight Flush Crushes Two Flushes

Yehuda Buchalter: {2-Spades}{9-Spades}{k-Spades}{j-Clubs}/{x-}{x-}{x-}

Action was picked up on sixth street where Yehuda Buchalter bet, Brian Lieberman called with four to a straight flush showing and Yueqi Zhu came along also.

Zhu checked seventh street, Buchalter bet 12,000. Lieberman raised to 24,000 which got Zhu to stand up and go into the tank. He thought it out for quite some time while standing before sitting and throwing in the chips in a manner that looked like a painful and reluctant call. Buchalter got out of the way.

"Got the straight flush?" asked Zhu.

"Yep," said Lieberman and tabled the {7-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{10-Spades} for the straight flush.

Zhu tossed over his own {10-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs} ace-high flush and voiced his frustration. "I can never get a break!" he said as he shook his head and explained his reasoning for calling.

Buchalter claimed that he had folded a king-high flush to put the cherry on top of the crazy hand, where all three players had flushes by fifth street.

Action folded around to Katz who then raised and "Elky" put the rest of his chips in.

After the cards ran out, Katz's pair of fives pipped Grospellier's pair of threes, and the Day 1 chip leader was sent to the rail.

After losing that recent huge pot to a mega-cooler, Brandon Cantu was on the right end of one to double up through Ben Diebold.

Cantu and Diebold got four bets each in on third street, then Cantu led fourth and fifth, receiving calls from Diebold.

After Cantu bet again on sixth, Diebold raised, and Cantu put his final 17,000 chips in the middle.

Cantu had aces in the hole for eights full of aces, while Diebold had started with rolled-up tens but now needed to improve.

Cantu was unable to pair up on seventh for a better full house, while just for fun, Cantu was dealt the final eight in the deck to make quads and double up to 100,000 chips.

Ben Diebold: {5-Spades}{a-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}/{k-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}

Every player at the table entered the pot as fourth street was dealt for a true family pot.

Brandon Cantu bet 5,000 on fourth street. Ben Diebold raised to 10,000 and said "let's see if we can get some people out of here". Which he did as, Kevin Gerhart, Thomas Taylor and Yueqi Zhu all folded. John Lytle and Oxana Cummings called and Cantu also called the raise to bring four players to fifth street.

On fifth street, Diebold bet with the lead and all three of his opponents called.

On sixth street, it checked to Cummings who bet, Cantu folded, Diebold called and Lytle also folded to make it a heads up pot going into seventh street. Diebold check-called the bet from Cummings on seventh.

Cummings said she only had a pair and Diebold tabled the {k-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds} for aces up which won the family pot leaving Cummings short who would bust shortly afterwards.
