Riordan Pops a Big Raise

Niveau 6 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Action came in on the river with the board reading {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{9-Spades}{6-Spades}{10-Hearts}. From the hijack, Jonas Kronwitter bet 83,000. John Riordan took several time extensions, thinking deeply before he shoved forward a raise to 288,500.

Kronwitter immediately shifted in his chair and looked uncomfortable. He used multiple time extensions as well while he fidgeted and thought it out. As everyone else went on break he continued to think. Eventually, he tossed his cards into the muck and Riordan took the pot.

"Did you get away with a little highway robbery there?" asked tablemate Isaac Kempton who had been watching the hand closely. Riordan did not reply as he stacked his chips.

Winter Wins Showdown Pot Off Medarov

Niveau 6 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Sean Winter
Sean Winter

Four ways to the {j-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{4-Spades} turn, Vasil Medarov bet 22,000 out of the big blind. Sean Winter raised to 90,000 from under the gun and John Beauprez tanked from two seats over, used two time bank extensions to fold. Bryce Yockey also folded on the button while Medarov called.

The {q-Diamonds} on the river killed all potential action as they checked it down. Medarov tabled the {8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{4-Clubs} for a set of fours but Winter had that beat with a set of jacks as the cards were instantly meshed by the dealer.

The turn was the {4-Clubs} to double pair the board. Garza led for 6,000. Lamb raised to 19,000 which got Garza to fold after a few moments.

Riordan Doubles Through Baptista

Niveau 6 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Heads-up to the {a-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} turn, John Riordan got his last 86,500 into the middle and he was looked up by Duarte Baptista to create the following showdown.

John Riordan: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{j-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Duarte Baptista: {10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}

Baptista had a wrap and dominated flush draw, which didn't get there on the {2-Clubs} river as Riordan doubled with the superior flush.

Karmazinas Doubles Through Katz

Niveau 6 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Dominykas Karmazinas

A preflop raising war had gotten a third player out of the pot while Dominykas Karmazinas was all-in for 191,300 and looked up by Aaron Katz.

Dominykas Karmazinas: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}
Aaron Katz: {10-Clubs}{9-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs}

"It's called gambling," Katz said with a dry smile on the face and then lamented on each street it was no good for his hand. The {q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{4-Clubs} board gave both players a flush and Karmazinas more than doubled.

Yankov Busts Razavian on River

Niveau 6 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Parviz Razavian
Parviz Razavian

The flop read {4-Hearts}{6-Spades}{q-Spades}. Parvis Razavian raised a bet from Krasimir Yankov, enough to put himself all in. Yankov took a few moments before he called and the cards were revealed.

Razavian had the lead with flopped two pair {q-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} against the aces of Yankov, {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{6-Hearts}.

The turn upped Razavian's two pair by a notch as the {j-Hearts} came off. But the river was the {4-Diamonds} to pair the board and give Yankov the better two pair with aces up and Razavian was busted for the second time today.

Near Triple Up for Bleznick

Niveau 6 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Jared Bleznick
Jared Bleznick

The action started with a raise to 3,000 by Jared Bleznick and Robert Cowen reraised the pot from one seat over. Iaroslav Boiko, who had just won a large pot off Chris Brewer without showdown, made it 26,000 to go and Bleznick clicked it back to 36,000. Gryko flat-called and Boiko tossed in some chips, then asked in surprise "oh it was a raise?".

The dealer instantly confirmed it was a call for 36,000 and the flop fell {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{5-Spades} on which Bleznick checked. Cowen bet 16,000 to force out Boiko and Bleznick then pushed for the last 33,600 to get called by Cowen.

Jared Bleznick: {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{9-Spades}{7-Spades}
Robert Cowen: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{3-Diamonds}

The {7-Diamonds} turn and {j-Diamonds} river kept Bleznick in contention as he nearly tripled up.

Jattin Catches Weisman Bluffing

Niveau 6 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

With 13,800 invested before the flop, Dylan Weisman and Farid Jattin both checked the {9-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} flop and the {4-Hearts} turn. Weisman also checked the {3-Clubs} river on which Jattin bet 10,500. Weisman check-raised the pot to 62,000 and Jattin used a time bank extension before making the call.

Weisman tapped the table and flashed his cards just briefly but couldn't beat the {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{10-Spades}{7-Spades} of Jattin.
